New Feature: LAYOUT MARKETPLACE

The Layout Marketplace

status: BETA; calling layout designers to test it;  it is not the complete, full version, get it?

[important] message from boss: read here.

HAHA. Keeper's wish just came true. So be careful with what you wish for. The LAYOUT MARKETPLACE is like the I-SHOP in the anime forum I told you about last night. Designers can now upload their layout designs in the LAYOUT MARKETPLACE where we could buy it using karma points. I-SHOP has profile icons. MARKETPLACE has layouts. I-SHOP currency is credit. MARKETPLACE currency is karma. COOL. THANKS BOSS.

Let's talk about the LAYOUTS section. It has three categories:

1. Layouts owned - the layouts Keeper [you/user/the one reading this] bought

2. Layouts created - the layouts Keeper [you/user/the one reading this] created

3. Layouts Marketplace - the layouts for sale

Note that in EACH category, you'll find the 'Create New Marketplace Layout' button. It's like the 'Start Writing' button but instead of stories and AFF's text editor, you get to create layouts and do it in a SPECIAL html editor. [okay, I called it special; it's just different].

Also, in EACH category, you'll find the links for the TUTORIALS on 'How to use a layout' and 'How to make a layout'. You can find them in the FAQ section as well. So, READ.

I am more interested in using it so... LAYOUT DESIGNERS go ahead and paste your codes on the SPESHUULLL html editor and use the new tags, so that we could easily edit the text.

First, we must buy a layout. Go to the Marketplace, browse the layouts and then purchase them by clicking the 'Buy' button. The layout prices are indicated. I got the free one, Bulletproof by Contaegious. [just because]

Now, let's go to our story foreword. Scroll down. You'll find the links just above the 'add chapter' and 'edit foreword' buttons:

(change description layout or remove)(change foreword layout or remove)

(change layout or remove) - for chapters

Just click the links, choose the layout you want for your description and foreword, then hit the approprite button: 'activate for description' , 'activate for foreword' or 'activate for chapter'.

It is important that the Layout Designers use the {CONTENTID1} tags so that it is easier for users to edit text.

users will surround their text in [CONTENTID1]their text here[/CONTENTID1] tags to correspond with your tags. Tags are case sensitive so they must be in uppercase!

Oh, well, it is pretty much straightforward if you explore that  place. Why did I even... OTL

I have a question [probably more to come]. I just bought a free layout and I think it was meant to put in my profile. So how do I put it in my profile? :3
