Song Rec - My Grown Up Christmas List
Aaah, it's that time of the year again, where even the cold makes everyone happy ! Yup, it's Christmas, one of my favourite holidays ever. Oh, the joy, the children smiling with wide eyes when they see a huge mountain of gifts, the choirs, the magic of the Christmas tree... You all understand what I'm saying, right ?
When the month of December starts, I have this huge UUUURGE to start singing and listening Christmas songs, it makes the season so much happier, don't you think ? So I made a little playlist with awesome Christmas songs to left us in the mood of the season !
1) The Classic!

This is a song that everyone knows how to sing, even if it just part of it! It's definitely a classic for this season, and Mariah's wonderful and warm voice brings the happiness to everyone. I bet that you even start making gestures on the intro, am I right ? For everyone, All I Want For Christmas is You by Mariah Carey.
2) The sad but iconic
This song, even though it's sad because it talks about a past love, has the hope to find a new and a better one that will be faithful and will stay with you until the end. So, on 2nd we have Wham!'s Last Christmas.
3) The remake
The people that are unfamiliar with k-pop might not know this song, but in fact this is an original by David Foster. But damn, this version is so warm on Ailee's voice, that I just want to spend almost 5 minutes listening to this as replay, replay, replay (I'm not singing SHINee, believe... Well, okay, I lied). The lyrics are so cute and Ailee can bring out the happiness on the lyrics very well. To the people that don't know, this is Ailee's version of My Grown Up Christmas List.
4) The Family Song
This are some of the k-pop families that make original Christmas songs to support the happiness of this season, and thank god that this exists ! Is just so cute to see the artists of the same agency interact with each other, don't you think? Here you have SMTOWN's Santa U Are The One, Orange Caramel & NU'EST's Dashing Through the Snow In High Heels, Jellyfish's Because It's Christmas, and CUBE's Christmas Song.

Another one that not everybody knows about. This group is a rookie one *yeah, believe it or not* and they used just the chorus from Last Christmas and made a whole new version about how their lives were at that moment. This is Bangtan Boys' Typical Trainee's Christmas. Pretty cool, hun?
