Soorin is the most introverted person in her inner circle, she crave time alone, and is most at ease in her own company. She's very quiet and do not share her own inner thoughts readily, as she fear judgement and don;t wish to bother others by waffling on about herself. However, she can enjoy spending time with others, but this drains her energy, and she need time in order to recharge. She do not wish to talk to anyone and everyone. She's however excellent listener, who will quietly and politely take in and absorb the conversations of her friends. She will always pay attention and will offer supportive feedback rather than criticism or advice. Her self-deprecating also makes her think that she might not be very interesting anyway, that she isn't really worth spending time with, even if she know in the depths of her mind that she's very interesting indeed. But once she have someone to talk to in a quiet and relaxed environment, she can talk a lot and will enjoy sharing thoughts and idea, that's why she's always dreaming of someone who's talkative that can make her more open up.
She also very wary of making friends. It can take her a very long time for her to consider someone she's familiar with a 'friend', but once she've reached this point, she will likely stick with that person loyally. she prefer having a few close friends to many acquaintances. ♚The Woman of Past
Background: Soorin was born in middle class family. From a civil servant father who work as staff in government office and a kindergarten teacher mother. Originally her parents didn't program to have second child, since their first son already 15 years old, but without planned her mother was pregnant, it turns Soorin, their second child. Although her mother is not her young age and it's hard to bear child in her age at that time but her parents are still very happy with her mother second pregnancy. Soorin grew into a loveable kid, who loved by many. She's not a happy go lucky or social butterfly but she still a delightful and extroverted.
When she's 10 years old her life slowly change, her mother was already a long time suffering from lung cancer, because her father was a smoker caused her mother being a passive smoker. Soorin spent most of her time in hospital, accompany her mother. She little by little become a reclusive and quiet child. Until she's 15 years old, her only friend is just her mother. After suffering many years, her mother passed away when Soorin 16 years old. She feel so devastated at that time, she close herself for anyone include her family. When she graduate from high school she moved to Seoul to attend university and she lived at dorm. Until now she still hold grudges to her father, because in her mind, her father that caused her mother died.

He got extraordinary pretty face, that would all woman in the world envy him so much. Not just that he also one of eligible bachelor in Korea, He's the heir of D.O group, a multinational group which is one of 10 largest group in Korea. Sure, he can't help but being cocky. He seek to be control of situation, to be on top, to be the best. He take pleasure in the pain, misfortune, or humiliation of people he's not on good terms with. This is because it brings him pleasure to feel superior to others. He's the sort who would say "Haha! look at that loser messing up! Hilarious!" He also blame others for his own mistake, often to the point of lying to save face. He brag and boast to show how amazing he is, in an "I am better than others' kind of way. He's pragmatic, doing what needs to be done bluntly rather than worrying about fantasy scenarios. He will plough through obstacle that bar his path, He's single-minded in moving forward his goals.
Background: Kyungsoo was born in not just a wealthy family but also a well known family. Her father is the third generation of D.O group which steadily make his own path become no 1 businessman in Korea. her mother is a formerly top actress, who well known because of her gorgeous feature, her mother also got tittle as the most beautiful woman in South Korea, that good genes is run in the families. Born in to perfect family demands Kyungsoo to be a perfect son. He bears a great responsibility as fourth generation in DO family. Kyungsoo lives like a crown prince. he has people who work for him, who will do whatever he ask.
Meeting: When Soorin at her part time at book store, she's arrange the new arrival books while singing softly. Kyungsoo who was also at the book store heard her singing and without realizing he was walk toward her voice. Kyungsoo was so captivated by Soorin's voice. When Soorin realize there's someone that watching her, she turn her head and immediately enchanted with the extremely handsome face in front of her. Before Kyungsoo ask her name Soorin already run, and hide behind because she too embarrassed knowing that the most handsome guy at her campus hear her singing.
Interaction: They like stranger, Soorin know Kyungsoo (of course who doesn't know the campus kingka, even an outcast) but she never fond of him. Before the meeting, she just know he as the most handsome student that have many fans, but after she met him at book store she actually feel curiosity toward him, and she start to follow him around campus silently but never had the courage to address him. However, Kyungsoo know it. He know that somewhat Soorin likes to watched him secretly, he just let her while waiting Soorin to speak first.

Just a thought of mine, how about twisting the plot, in the original story the one that head over heels is Echo, so why not flipped it in modern time?
