Background :  Annie was born in Los Angeles in 1995. She was raised in an average family. Her father and mother are both a lecturer in university. Her parents are very stricts. They were against her when she told them her dream to became an idol. They wanted her to go to university and became a doctor but she doesn't want that. Without her parent permission, she left her home in LA, and come to Seoul for audition. She wanted to proof to her parent that she will be successful. When she got accepted, she told her parent. Her parent have no choice and supported her dream since she loves music so much.

Trainee's Life : Annie's trainee life is almost like the hardest part in her life . She live in Korea by herself at the age of 15 while her family is in LA. She had to live alone without her family to archieve her dream. She came to Korea without knowing anything including korean language. At first she had to deal with others trainee who avoided her because they think she is a cold person but after knowing her they become close with her. They even taught her how to speak korean.

How you met? & How you act around each other? : They met during M!Countdown, when Annie went to met Amber to congratulate her for her comeback. At first, Hoya disliked how she acted and her cold attitude. But after met her again a few times, he finds Annie is not like what he think she is.
