Minjoo is quite a sarcastic person. she is the kind of person that you'll eaither love or hate. she tends to be y when not in the mood but it's just her defense mechanism against bullies. she is a chic and spoiled girl, a perfectionist and snob girl.despite her cold personality, she's very emotional and cries when she's alone. she doesn't want people seeing her weak side. she's a very sadistic sister to Seojin. she's pessismistic in a way and always think negatively but as time went by she became more open to people. she is scared of being left out so instead of having friends she will just shove them away than having friends and being separated after a while. When she gained friends despite her personality, she started to change her attitude and started to think positively in life.

Background:
Minjoo was born in the Philippines in late 1991. When studying in the Philippines, she was a heartbreaker, breaking guys' hearts, she had 2 boyfriends though (one Korean and one Filipino). Her family returned to Korea when she was about to turn 18. She and her brothers would audition for different Entertainment agencies but in secret because of their father's disapproval of having more idol children, he thinks being a celebrity is not a real job. They would hide in their rooms to practice songs and choreos. Their Dad caught them once practicing and scolded them. They reasoned with him for a month. Because of their nonstop attempt to shake their Dad, Mr.Seo gave in and allowed them to audition.

In late 2009, Minjoo auditioned for YG Entertainment along with her brother, Jinwoo and got picked on the spot. They were officially welcomed to YG a few days later and thus, their training started.
