Today was my last Taekwon Do grading for the year, and i passed so now im a red stripe!!!!!!!! For those of you who dont know what this means, i am now 3rd gup, which means i only have red belt (second gup) and black stripe (first gup) then i will be a first dan black belt!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, the requrement break for the grading was a side piercing, and i did that earlier in the week, so today i thought i would try an elbow strike, which is pretty much swinging your elbow into an inch think wooden board..... AND I DID IT AND BROKE IT ON THE FIRST TRY I WAS SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!! I fell over in free sparring because i tripped over my own foot and it was embarrasing coz my boyfriend was watching and afterwards he said he was slightly moe scared of me than he was yesterday hahahaha

But overall it was a really good grading, i didnt forget anything and i was glad that i broke the board and didnt hurt my arm, the downside of grading meand i have to learn a new pattern, and its the longest one, Toi-gye...... so hopefully i can learn that soon ^^
