AFF/Internet Peeves
This is just a mini rant on the things that annoy me. And there are quite a few things that annoy me.
I get irritated when people use too many short forms. For example, "Do you really need to go to the toilet?" becomes "Do u rlly nid 2 go 2 d toilet?". It becomes annoying to read and it makes me feel as if you didn't put much effort into typing that. It is alright to use one or two short forms and abbrevations like the occasional "u" or "wtv/wtf" but when your whole sentence is abbrevated or shortened, it becomes really annoying and it is such an eyesore.
Another thing that annoys me is the unecessary use of korean. Stuff like "Neh, gwenchanayeo." or "Mianhae I didn't mean it." I find it utterly ridiculous to see a mishmash of english and korean in a sentence. Come on, this is mainly an english website. Why don't you write your whole sentence in either english or korean. Or better yet, actual korean letters instead of using the romanized one. Sometimes I see conversations written in korean (being curious and a bit of a busybody) I try to read them and figure out what they are conversing about. After a while I give up and start using google translate because I can't understand it. And after I translated it, it turns out that he sentence was one of google translate's works. If you know 2 languages you will know what I mean. The translated sentence would be horribbly written. And google translate rarely does a good job. So instead of conversing in google translate, you might as well translate it in english. You get to save time and effort.
There are quite a number of stuff I get annoyed about but I will post that another day. By the way, comment what annoys you (if you want) down below. So yeah, thats the end of my rant... for now HAHAHA.
