Some back ground information regarding the story:

Basically the story revolves around LuHan and SeHun. Both of them are part EXO clan and they are guardians. EXO clan is a clan ‘touch’ by god and they are gifted with power. Each EXO members will have their power noted in MAMA era (e.g ChanYeol is fire etc.) However, LuHan, SeHun, XiuMin, Lay are a few exceptions. They are the one selected by god to be gifted with extra powers – God’s senses. Lay is the holder of God’s Light and to all the guardians he is the one that supplies their life and he is also the crucial factor for them to win the war between the demons (or rather known as duras) in the story.

Lay – God’s Light (His power is healing. God’s light is the strongest power and he is apparently the hope for the war between the duras and the others. All guardians are bonded or rather they depend on him to continue living, he is the one who heals all of their wounds and takes on their pain as their own.)

LuHan – God’s Eyes (Apart from his Telekinesis power, he is the holder of God’s Eyes, it enables him to see the happening of future events through a crystal ball and also his sense of sight is stronger than everyone.)

SeHun – God’s Voice (His original power is wind, however he is gifted with God’s Voice so it enables him to use fire as well. He set things/people aflame just by a simple command with his god’s voice.)

XiuMin – God’s Ears (XiuMin original power is frost however being the holder of God’s Ears enables him a strengthen sense of hearing. He is able to hear stuff from far away, sense the presence of people and also his power makes him sensitive to the feelings of the people around him. It is as if he hears the feelings of people around him.)

 

Due to SeHun’s power and his lack of control over his own power he actually accidentally burned people when he was young. Thus people labeled him as a freak and the once popular boy was casted aside and hated by everyone. This makes him where he is right now – an introvert. His partner for life, LuHan stayed with him and they shared a bond so strong that they depend their life on one another and they only trust one another. Of course, all guardians are actually bonded to their partners that no one can possibly imagine they depend and work best with one another.

SeHun once tried to kill himself by activating his God’s Voice on himself only to pull back by LuHan but it left scars that marred LuHan’s body. SeHun always felt guilty for causing the scars and pain on LuHan, and he is shadowed by his past and grew afraid of his power. But Lay showed him that he isn’t that bad.

Like SeHun, LuHan’s childhood wasn’t all rainbows and unicorn either. LuHan is a happy go lucky person on the outside and he tends to skip meal a lot causing SeHun to constantly worry about the elder. But no matter what happens LuHan always show a smile to his fellow guardians and SeHun. He hates bothering people with his own feelings and choose to stay silent about it. When LuHan was young, he overheard multiple times his parents arguing over him and he heard clearly how much they hated and doesn’t want him to exist because of his ‘gifts’. He grew dependent on SeHun to the extent that the only reason for his living is SeHun. As he watches Lay ‘heals’ SeHun he realize that he is no longer needed because SeHun now has Lay by his side and Lay will be a better choice to show SeHun that he isn’t a monster and be by the younger side without SeHun having to feel burden because of scars that he can’t erase. LuHan always knew that the scars on his body were making SeHun uncomfortable.

 

Summary of story:

(To be honest it is a small extract from the whole story…)

LuHan saw Lay and SeHun in the clearings and knew that Lay had healed SeHun. Just when he decided that he had served his purpose (Chapter 1), he disappeared. XiuMin due to his power suddenly felt the lost of LuHan’s presence and he was afraid. He told the news to the rest and the maknae (Chapter 2) and Chapter 2 and 3 talks about SeHun’s pain of losing his love (though he never confessed he knew he was somewhat in love with LuHan) and partner.

On the other hands while SeHun’s battle his depression, LuHan was actually kidnapped by duras. He found out he was actually SeHun’s replacement and he gladly die for SeHun. He managed to save the girl that was caught with him but when he got caught again he was tied up strongly. The duras who caught him than played with him and demanded to know secrets of the EXO clan but he refused to tell anything and the duras threatened to kill him, to that sentence LuHan will have nothing to say but his expression shows that he is willing to die and he had gave up on the motivation to live. Thus the duras who saw his lack of will to live decided to kill him and stopped his heart.

EXO clan found out the duras hideout and launched an attack however at the start all of them were caught out with the duras minions and only SeHun and Lay was left to go to the mansion that kept LuHan. There, both of them saw a dead SeHun hanging onto the wall and Lay immediately tried to heal LuHan but he can’t heal him. The duras then told them that LuHan had already lost the will to live and he chose to stop his heart from beating and she did nothing. SeHun refuses to believe it and desperately fought the duras only to be out powered and as he caught captured by the demon’s power he recalled a time when he got into a fight and went into hiding but was found by LuHan and how LuHan was always there for him.

“Dear god, if you gave me this power to protect the humans, please give me the strength to fight now.” And he shouted “LuHan, LIVE!”

End up LuHan did came back to life and together with SeHun they fought the duras and then when they were back into the mansion they talked this out sort out their feelings and wala! They are together as lovers~
