Soompi has one of the most talented writers I have ever seen besides Life Journal. Since Soompi is a forum, you have to sign up. But, it's worth the hassle to read such good quality works right? Or you can use your fb acct or twitter acct just like moi. Rather than reading *cough* *cough* someone's fics which are really childish puppy cliche fics that I don't know how is popular with everyone here, those fics that are I just posted above are considered works from heaven. Cheers and happy reading. P.S Those fics are all non-gasoo which means no SHINee, Super Junior, SNSD, DBSK etc. Aww, shucks. But, at least, it proves my point that not all fics need to have your biases in it to be popular. For once a fic with no SHINee is well-liked by everyone.

Does anyone have soft copies or original versions of any of these fanfics? I’ve been looking for “The Summer House” on and off for a few years now.

Oh! the days when these books were actually available on Soompi, some glorious time, the quality and quantity of good writers has lessened drastically over the years at sooimpi also, but some of the present time good books would be cops and robber triology, the first book It had to be you, is an absolute delight.
But I would say that there are some very good fics here also the most recent one that has enthralled me is Fighting Perfection.

i've read all these stories...and yes, they're all good..,if not the best.
you should also try fist and lipsticks. :)
i happen to have the soft copy of all these stories as well.
from time to time, i reread some of these stories. :)

I'm so glad you created this so other people will be able to read some of Soompi's best stories/fics. If anyone reads this, know that the author for Welcome To The Underworld has no published 2 books and is continuing. I have both and they've become my favorite books ever!

I've read most of the fics you provided, and I can't agree with you more.
I'm not saying the fics here aren't good - a bunch of them are enjoyable indeed, but one that thing that is different over here is if I am looking for famous fics in AFF, I won't necessarily find HQ ones. Most of the time its ffs brought famous by the characters involved.
I personally hope that the soompi writers' success despite producing a non-gasoo fic will encourage people to focus on the content of the story itself in order to make better fics. After all, there are a lot of fics in soompi that does not have reader's biases yet still proving to be memorable until now.

hi! i saw this post when i'm looking for a list of soompi's FOTY and i quite agree with your opinion..

well, there's still a bunch of good fics here in AFF but there is ALWAYS BETTER out there which we can found in SOOMPI.(i'm not really a fan of LJ aside from the fics i can see on my FRIEND'S PAGE) ..especially NON-GASOO...

and i think there's more thrill in reading non-gasoo b'coz the reader will imagine everything about the character unlike knowing the face and the character beforehand and imagining that person with that kind of character..(i'm not really sure if i explained whatever i'm saying clearly but i hope you got i mean...^^)

and that WELCOME TO THE UNDERWORLD is the BEST so far...oh my Taehyun! sarang!!!!! and those SOL's stories that will make you cry bucket of tears, aigoo~ (though i'm not familiar with KEYS BEFORE MY EYES)..

P.S. your list, in my opinion, lacks a lot more of fics..B'COZ SOOMPI GOT A LOT, REALLY A LOT LOT LOTS OF GOOD FANFICSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!! like like TOO MANY TO MENTION.. hehehehe... hope you recommends more non-gasoo... AJA!

I have read everything you have listed here except Keys Before My Eyes. But its on my to-read list. I hafta agree that if you want to read awesome and unique fanfics, Soompi is the best place for you.

I still have trouble reading fics threads. Well, except for discussions. I am a member of an anime forum. If I find myself not wanting fanfics and just want to read, i'll definitely give them a try ^0^
