BACKGROUND: She comes from a rich family background, and as cliche as it is, was never payed attention to. Her family was so busy they paied no mind to the little girl trying to show them the A she got on her test, or the tower she built using pencils and ducktape. She was always a smiley child even if she parents didn't show her love, but it changed when she turned eight, and she asked her father really nicely if he would come to her school for father-daughter dance that they were holding. Their driver, Kim Dongjin: age 23, say her heart broken face, and, with a tender smile, asked if she would like to dance. Sunmi, seeing his nice smile, felt her cheeks heat up, and nodded. Dongin then danced with her all night.

From that day on, Sunmi saw Dongjin as a older brother. He would encourage her to do what she wanted, and praise her for her hardwork. Even after she turned more introverted and quiet, he still stuck with her. He was always there for her when her parents weren't. He even helped get her a audition at M.S. entertainment when she decided she wanted to be an idol. At 18, she audtioned, and was accepted at 19. She had run home, and hugged the worn out man tightly, and thanked him for all her had done for her. Dongjin gave her a weary smile, and told her to always be happy, and live a happy life from then on. Sunmi always will hold him close to her heart.
