Me and kreystals arrived at the queue at 9:30 am, and we queued for 9 hours until the doors finally opened.
In that period of time we met two new amazing people and whilst using the toilets in the Hilton, found out that was where SJ were staying, and exited just in time to see them messing with the fans and waving from the windows and filming us.
We started chanting "SUPER JUNIOR SARANGHAE" And they appeared a couple more times.
Even though i was number 99 in the north standing queue we somehow managed to get second row from the barrier right next to the stage. The next hour and a half went quickly despite how cold and wet and tired we all were. (We spent most of it eyeing up the managers)
The VCR started and although there was a technical fault with the curtain we didn't mind and i had a moment to look at the blue ocean and it was the most amazing thing i'd ever been a part of, to think a year ago i never thought i would be a part of it.

 

Although i had seen the VCR before, it was such a build up to what was about to happen. When the curtain finally dropped, it took me a moment to fully appreciate what it was i was actually seeing, as the smoke cleared my bias Donghae, and Sungmin were right in front of me, and they reminded me of wax works, they were so still and perfect and REAL. They really do have this kind of inhuman almost angel look about them.

I couldn't look at all the members at the same time and my eyes flitted between them but Hyukjae really caught my attention in the first couple of minutes, a lot of people consider him to be ugly but he was nothing like he is in pictures. His movements were so fluid and his hair and skin looked so soft. His handstand in Mr simple has always been one of my favorite things and to see it right in front of me was crazy. 

I noticed that after the first two songs, Mr simple and Super Girl that Kyuhyun was looking really pale and he was sweating badly. He probably hadn't had much rest from the show the day before, he kept having to leave the stage. 

They then introduced themselves in adorable English , and Sungmin's "You are so gorgeous!" Amused me. 

Donghae was really impressed with his own English and so was i. "Hi guys, my name is what?!" Donghae!! "Exactly, thats right." "I can speak English but just little bit... okay? Today, i'm gonna try. "

He told us to forget our homework and our money for one day and did his typical kissing the mic. 

When Kyuhyun introduced himself he seemed to be feeling better, there was a lot of "I know, you know, they know, i know's" going on. And "You're so gorgeous, you know?"

Hyukjae, being the cocky little guy that he is, was basking in all the glory of being screamed at for a few minutes before introducing himself. 

And from here on out started their "Yes yes sure!"

It was quite a blur from there on, i was just in total awe of the fact that i was actually there. 

Kyuhyun singing isn't she lovely had to be one of the best parts, mainly because i had seen how he was struggling at the beginning but he put so much effort into it he was so cute with his pronunciation. (Preshious)

And his little "Everybody! lalala!"

And then shindong comes along and dances seductively around Kyu and it was the best thing. 

Then came the cross-dressing and despite myself... i found it hot as hell.  They all looked really embarrassed despite how many times they've done this now, Kangin especially. 

Sungmin was scarily good at being Hyuna though. 

I was so happy that Eunhae did Hello and Oppa Oppa (Because it's my guilty pleasure) 

Donghae and Sungmin were extra bouncy during shake it up and Hae came over to bounce around in front of us with his little minnie mouse ears on and he looked so adorable. 

Rockstar was crazy i can't even remember how many times they repeated it, but siwon of course could not keep his clothes on and his abs are literally a holy force of nature. 

I managed to not cry at the reality of these boys standing before me but the moment that Ryeowook and Kyuhyun sung and i just stopped and listened and realised how beautiful their voices were i started getting tears in my eyes but i completely lost it when they played a video of Yesung and his absense really got to me and i couldn't help but cry. 

 

After that when they moved on to sing group Ballad's, Donghae was sat in front of me, and preoccupied with staring out at the crowd he made eye contact and sung along with my friend and then as you can see in this video: [ x ] At 1:55 his face drops and i was still crying from previously and he does that little head tilt of his and waits for me to notice and smiles his kitty smile at me. 

At one point Hyuk came and stood rather dauntingly over us whilst he was singing and i hoped thought he was going to jump on us. I have pictures of this but i'm posting them seperately. 

Hae was so cute with his little camera on a stick and he filmed us for a while before he bounced off. 

The order of things from there on is a blur to me, three hours went far too quickly and i just have random bits of cute things that happened stuck in my mind:

Donghae and Shindong sung the beatles, he forgot the lyrics and just "LALALALAED" his way through the song. 

And Hyuk apologized on his behalf "Sorry guys.. it doesn't mean we're going to sing our songs like this . We're going to be cool so please...wait."

The guys were really loud, first they had the fanboys shout, then the girls, and then all the staff in the arena haha.Then all of SJ shout.  The staff in our area just shook their head, probably already traumatised by what they'd seen. 

Everytime we either didn't shout loud enough or shouted at the wrong time Hae kept going "No no NO NO NO..." 

Hae was being his usual camwhore self and getting right up in any camera he could find at the side of the stage. 

Kyuhyun looked his happiest when he was dressed as Loki, prancing around on stage and precariously waving his stick around at us. At one point he came over and smiled down at me and we did little bunny ears with our fingers to each other. 

Siwon was all over everyone as usual, he kissed Kyu countless times and he came over and started touching Hyuk right in front of us. 

Sungmin was really bouncy and excitable all the time. 

 

Donghae's final speech, although cringy, was really touching and had me crying again. [ x ]

Sometimes you're my hero.

Sometimes you're my... girlfriend.

Sometimes you're my sister.

Sometimes you're my BABY!

The members wanted him to hurry up and stop being so cheesy. 

They started mocking everything he said, Hyuk was like "e-e-e-e-exactly."

But what Hae said next was adorable. "Without you i could never see. Without you i could never hear. Without you i could never have happy tears in my eyes."

Although not how i would have worded it i could totally relate to this because i was in a bad place when i got into SJ and now to see them live, despite the fan projects falling to pieces and it being such a cold and long day, just to see them for a minute let along 3 hours was honestly the best experience in my life so far. They've helped me and mean so much to me, and just to make eye contact with them for a few moments is priceless. 

 

Surprises always make your day better, and i am so grateful to SJ for letting Kris and Suho on stage, that made me cry even more and it was such a good ending, so unexpected and i love them so much. 

Suho was dancing to rockstar and really going for it whereas Kris was just a bashful, extremely beautiful giant, and his hair and scalf looked so perfect, he definately looked like he walked out of an anime. His dancing on the other hand... was so halfhearted and shy haha.
