It's actually already nice,maybe change the font. If you want to make a cute/happy posters,use pngs [decorations I meant], you can look up some in deviant. Hmm, I think you're using the wrong font and the color is just too dark. I recommend the use of renders because they're very easy to use and edit. :))

I at fluffy, happy posters.. I always try to use vibrant colours, happy or derpy characters and fonts that are cute and bubbly. Those are my main rules xD

if you're trying to do a happy/comedy poster it should more brighter and radiant colors. the characters should be smiling or looking playfully mischievous. like this picture for example:

see how taemin has a mischief look on his face? it would be perfect for a happy or cute pictures. as for the font you might want to go with a font that is more happy.

the main thing of a cute poster is to have smiling characters, bright colors/textures, and cute font. try looking at some examples of cute posters, dont try to copy them though just do it in your way.

I know absolutely nothing about graphic designing, but maybe like brighter colors? or photos of people actually smiling? or maybe not a background of a lonely road?

OH WOW. The title is Tainted Pictures....see what had happened was that I read pictures as some in hieroglyphics. I love the font, my eyes are just font challenged.

Ditch the filters because they aren't common for cute posters, only for angst. My advice is go for pretty bright colours like pinks, yellows and blues, and use cute bubbly fonts (just look them up, or use Kimberly Geswein fonts, I recommend them). Don't blend because it makes it look like an angst poster, try masking the idols' pictures and sticking them on the poster without blending, borders around the idols and words are also advised. Go for a cartoon-style edit or background. Good Luck! <3

It took me around 2 - 3 hours to do a poster that required blending. I gave up and did 4 cute/romcom posters OTL
