Tyhoon Yolanda /Hainan
After a 7.2 magnitude earthquake devastated my country, a category 5 typhoon hit the same area. The recent news and pictures are breaking everyone's hearts. The destruction is so surreal that it looked like Iitcame out from an end of the world movie. The desperation of the people looked like from a zombie movie without any real zombies in it. Some of the areas that were affected are places that were a big part of my childhood and seeing it now,I can only just bow ny head and pray. It seemed like all hope is lost but, seeing the outpouring concerns and help coming from around the world makes me smile. I truly see God's magnificent work in all of these. The earthquake, the typhoon and the generosity of everyone is God's way of knocking in all of us that we are never truly alone in times of need. He is always there waiting and helping us in every way only He knows how.
My deepest gratitude to everyone that donated and are continously donating to help my countrymen. You are truly an early Christmas gift to all of us. And for my kababayans, kaya natin to! Sabi nga nila bagyo lang yan, Pilipino tayo! Sa sama samang damayan, Disiplina at pagmamahal sa Diyos at sa kapwa, makikita rin natin na ang lahat ng ito ay madali at malalagpasan natin!
And to all that are including us in your prayers and are still donating...
Thank you
