New Nu'est MEMBER!

Ahahaha, I only found out about it just now but I did keep seeing Jason in tumblr and facebook for a few days now. I thought he was only a close companion with Nu'est, then I confirmed that he IS the 6th Member of Nu'est for the new project (new team) NU"EST-M.

If you will search  about Nu'est's activities, you could see the members a lot with a new face. Firstly, I thought he was only a close label-mate. Hence, I don't know much about the Pledis Artists besides After School. So for a few days, I concealed my mind with that thought, refusing about the new member thing. Now, I was surprised to suddenly see this news about "Nu'est-M" in my news feed in Facebook. I assumed right away that Nu'est will be part-taking as idols as well in China. But, I wondered about the 6th member who is Jason.

I'm not against with this new  member thing but, honestly, I'm not in favor with it either. Adding a new member, in my opinion, somehow omits Nu'est's originality and uniqueness since SME had already done this kind of thing. I'm not saying that they're copycats, but it does gives that impression to fans - especially to the fans of SME artists, specifically, ELFs and EXOtics. I'm a fan of both teams so I am somehow fair with this. I think Nu'est will succeed with its initial members as they are, since they are indeed prospering in the market. Fans love them as is.  I don't think that most fans go along with this well either. Of course, they keep themselves quiet (as how I see the fans) but they are not in good vibes with this. Having a chinese member, a very well-known idol in China I may add, is probably a good market strategy for Pledis and their partner with this project, YUEHA. Combining both successful idols - a rising artist with a famous idol, will really question the market which may let them gain more people to be interested in both Nu'est and Jason, as well with Pledis and YUEHA. Jason could also be the link for Nu'est to China. He could be a lot of help for them, not just in learning the language, but for them to be known in the market.

I'm not concerned about Nu'est-M's success regarding the new member, besides they both seem to be getting along well as Pledis states that they are in practices. I'm concerned about how they could be accepted and rise in the Chinese market. I'm a big LOVE but I still think that the boys are not that ready to take on this venure to target China. They don't have a massive fanbase much and  honestly, not that big in the industry unlike SME Artists who are struggling in Chinese charts.

Well, Pledis had made their decision and they seemed to know what they are doing. As of now, November 11, 2013, Nu'est-M is taking the stage on their Press Conference as their debut in the Chinese Market with the Mandarin version of their Korean Hit EP - "Sleep Talking".

I'm not going to quit as a LOVE and still continue to support Nu'est as a real fan should be. This is just a small change, and Pledis stated that Jason will only be joining the group in their Chinese promotions, so we could still see the boys as they were. I'm really not in favor about him, ( no, it got nothing to do with him, it's just that I like the group as it was) but I'm going to accept him as part of the family now. I haven't heard his voice nor know who is, so if I would, I might like him. He seems cute and a nice guy anyway.

Nu'est and Nu'est-M, forever fighting!!!  I hope for your success in this project!
