Korean Music Wave in Singapore cancelled

Before I begin...

1 minute of silence for the local and international fans who bought tickets /and air tickets to watch KMV.

and... 2 minutes of silence for people who queued days for th VIP tickets.

(Some people say that it's non-refundable, some people say that Fatfish had send emails to sort out refunds.. well)

Ok, just wanna say,,, happens sometimes

For me, I originally wanted to buy tickets to KMV but well, I was needed out of the country... so  I couldn't go..

People say that it was cancelled because of the hefty sum of production cost behind it and the huge need for:

- 5 star hotels for the 71 celebrities + hundred over crew

- 30 buses to the airport for transportation

- business class air-tickets for everyone coming over

- 120 full length mirrors + 15 garment steamers + convertible for MCs

- production cost of up 6 digit number

- international catering + 3 course korean food

Really, are you kidding me? If this was like the reason KMV was cancelled ... it is really ridiculous, to me.

I think that if you don't have the ability to even fund this amount of stuff, you shouldn't even sign the contract with MBC in the first place. It makes full sense that Fatfish Ent will have calculated everything including ticket sales and know that they would still profit from the show right? No one is frigging stupid enough to venture into something that they will not earn a cent from.

So my point is, money is obviously not the reason behind why KMV was cancelled.

Let's say production costs and everything totals up to at least two million Singapore dollars.

Ticket sales (if calculated equally) will go up to several million Singapore dollars.

The fault obviously lies on the contract or dispute over something between the two companies. That's as much as I can say though... Whatever happened between MBC and Fatfish is really something for fans to ponder. - -

Anyways I'm flying off this saturday~ Bye guys~
