Background: Skylar's parents separated very messily during a New Year’s Eve party when their daughter was a toddler. When she woke up on New Year’s Day to find her mom throwing her dad’s clothes out on to the lawn, it was clear that this year really would be a new beginning. From then on, she spent half the week with her mom, and the other half with her dad. Her parents worried that their separation might have damaged their young girl, but Skylar found ways to make the best of the situation. Her life surely wasn't easy before, her mother was just a 17 year old girl when she found out she was pregnant. Her father was also a 18 year old boy that didn't wanted a kid to mess up with his life. Even though none of them was expecting it, they decided to raise the baby the best they could. Her father tried to find a job while her mother would stay home with Skylar.

Luckily, Skylar grandfather was a big help to the two teenagers and found a job to both of them, in his fashion company, but one of them needed to move to Korea. Her father decided to do it. Even though Skylar was born to young and still immature parents, she always had the best things available to her, the best clothes, the best toys and the best educational systems. She always attracted a lot of fake friends. People would be nice to her, telling her how pretty she was...but they were all pretty rude when her back was turned. She was both the most liked and the most disliked girl. Her so-called friends would comment nasty things about her in the school corridors, spreading rumors and later, the bullying thing started. Publicly, Skylar pretended not to care about what people thought of her, but when she was alone it was difficult not to cry. After gradutation, her mother decided to move to South Korea as well. It would be good for both of them because Skylar could finally start all over again, with new people in a new school and her mother would also start to work in a music company as a HairStylist. Her father had tried to get her to apply to colleges in Korea once she became 18, but Skylar had been too short-sighted to look beyond her rein at high school; the thought of starting over in college as a nameless freshman at the very bottom of the social pyramid was too much for her. But there were something that she truly liked: singing, the world of music! With 16 years old, Skylar auditioned for SM Entertainment, just for fun and to listen some oppinions, but she made it, passing the audition at the first try. She was the very first non-asian girl to be part of SM Entertainment.
Life in Seoul was being everything she ever dreamt of, there was no bullying or harsh comments, she also changed her personality and became more nice to others, because she knew some of her bad attitudes certainly wouldn't buy her any friends.

It was Sehun, this shy and good looking boy asked (in a broken english) her if she could share her umbrella with him because he forget his in home. Skylar thought he was really adorable, blushing and mumbling while talking to her. With a big smile she nodded and after a not so long walk down the streets of Seoul, Skylar stopped in front of Sehun's door and waved at him. The boy waved back and shyly said: I think I should forget my umbrella more often.
It caused her to laugh out loud, making him laugh along. Since that day, they became really closer. Skylar helps Sehun with English while he helps her with Korean. She saw herself starting to fall for him, and Sehun started to feel the same.

How you act together: They can't say that they are dating, because they are not. But they can't deny the fact that the feeling is there, they act like boyfriend and girlfriend, they get jealous, they protect each other as they life depended on it. Around each other, they are the cutest thing ever, they show emotions that can't show in front of other people, and when they are together, people can clearly say that they are in love, 100% of skinship, smiles and the way they look at each other, as if they were talking in some kind of code. Sehun does everything for Skylar, even if it means giving his own life, because everybody can see how crazy she is about him and how madly he is in love with her.

Trainee Life: It was really hard at first. Her Korean wasn't perfect, she used to mess up a lot of words. In the company, everybody knew that she was talented, with 16 years old, Skylar already had amazing vocal skills.
