background : jae-ah spent her childhood days in london, where everything was so classy and different. since young, her parents gave jae-ah many lessons. for example, piano lessons, dancing and singing lessons. jae-ah didn't spend her childhood like any other kids did. she didn't join the kids in playgrounds, she didn't run around and sweat. she didn't play in the rain, she didn't play with toys. back then, jae-ah was taught to learn. not to play. she spent hours in her bedroom, singing to her dolls. she didn't mind such a dull childhood because it wasn't just girly-stuffs that she did. her parents made her learn sports since young. she could cycle on two wheels at the age of 6, she could rollerblade at 7, skateboard at 8 and swim at 9. jae-ah and her family moved to korea when she was 10. although the language was different, she could speak pretty well as her mother taught her simple korean when she was younger. from then, she made korean friends, joined korean school and led a korean life. it was tough adapting to the new surroundings but the strong jae made it through. not only that, she was a shining star since young. when she was 11, she stood on her school's stage and sang. from there, she was the new super idol in her school.
she learnt to play soccer in middle school. during summer, she never spent it in her bedroom like most girls do. she went to summer camps or go on vacations with her parents. her parents too, are adrenaline-lovers. just like jae-ah, they love learning and trying new things. (this is one of the reasons why they gave jae-ah so many lessons since young. they wanted her to learn many things in life). during summers, jae-ah would go hiking with her parents, cruise to the middle of the ocean, skydive or do camping. there's a few summers where she spent it in summer camp. she learnt archery in the camp and many new skills that helped her today. many people think that her childhood was a hectic one but she loved it. ALOT. since young, jae-ah was given many opportunities to excel. since the age of 7, jae-ah was a really competitive kid. at the age of 16, her high school best friend suggested her to go for audition. she
