Rose Stained Red
My bud's broken through
From deep in the ground
To meet the cloudy sky
And smile in my gloomy wake
Under a constant flashing rhythm
My bud blossoms at the first splash
Of tainted red on my open petal
My once white bloom painted blood
When the storm's subsided
And the clouds flee in fear
The sun hasn't died,
The light it stays near
One of many once white roses
My petals weep in conformity
Like the deep words of a broken prose
Of a lost and valued purity
Stuck in your soiled bed
My bud's now stained red
