Regarding how people don’t really give him much credit, there are some things that I want to say:

He sings really well, dances really well, is a good choreographer, he can compose songs, write lyrics, and produce his albums (and his solo albums are pretty great tbh), he can act (in musicals and movies), is fluent in Japanese (learned it since 2009 but didn’t really study it that hard until 2012 which is only last year so he improved greatly, he wrote the Japanese lyrics of his album too and then he also acted on Japanese drama too) and even becomes an MC there (on some shows during prime time too), he also owns an academy where people learn to sing and dance (some idols are from this academy he bought) and a restaurant too, he’s generally good at business and making deals (he even got bigbang to shoot a CF before), he’s like a PR in Bigbang (like talking to staff even on floors they don’t really go to, saying nice things to the crew, treats fans nicely and always tries to make fans happy with his SNS and diary updates, etc), he’s been dealing with people calling him useless and other negative comments since early in his career and instead of giving up, he’s always improving himself. always.

it’s been over 7 years since his debut (and btw he debuted when he was 15, he’s now still 22 years old. Even 3 members of Exo are a few months older than him actually) He was basically still a baby when he bet everything for his place in Bigbang, leaving his hometown on his own at 13-14) yet some people (even Bigbang fans) still think he’s useless, just an extra, etc. Maybe these people don’t know because he doesn’t get much lines in Bigbang songs or whatever, but unfortunately they don’t bother to get the facts straight or pay more attention to what he’s really capable of, so I guess they probably will never know. Oh well…
