From her angelic face, you could hardly tell that this girl is a brat. What she wants should be followed and obeyed. YongJoo is a girl with overly-heightened self-esteem, but with bad attitude. People around her tell that she is self-absorbed and vain. She often does not care with everything around her, but she wants them to notice her. She is not happy when she is not the center of attention. She always gets jealous when somebody steals her spotlight. She wants everyone to know that she is good with this thing, and those. Background:
Knowing her as an egotistical girl, her parents somehow tolerated it. She grew up rich and spoiled, getting whatever she wants. Though YongJoo grew up in a wealthy family, the Yoons cannot easily call it a real family. Her mother didn't expect that she'll be pregnant with YongJoo. The couple decided to keep her, even if it is not in their will. As YongJoo grows up as a kid, she always gets what she wants. Her parents thought that these will distract her from the corporal punishments they give to discipline her. It is very confusing because they want her to be disciplined; yet, they also tolerate her bad attitude. They kept on doing this until it becomes a cycle, making YongJoo build up her character. Little did everyone know, YongJoo suffered from a slight physical abuse from her parents. They would slap her or pull her hair if she do something wrong. And YongJoo always undergo from this, thinking that she always do things wrong. That time, when she was 14, she thought of commiting suicide, but she was really afraid that she'll go to hell. So she just hit herself, pulled her hair out, and hurt herself. She thought of running away but she doesn't know where to go. She became rebellious to her parents who started to ignore her at age of 10.They always fight because of "things" that YongJoo will "never understand". That is how YongJoo came up with the idea of the divorcion of her parents. But it didn't happen. Her parents did not divorce for the sake of her. As for YongJoo, she did not care and just thought of her family as a "life insurance".
