‘WIN’ TEAM A'S ‘GO UP’.. RIDING HIGH OM MUSIC CHARTS … TOP AMONGS 4 SONGS

마이데일리 = 최지예 기자] “Go Up”, a song written by Team A of ‘WHO IS NEXT:WIN” (“WIN”), YG Entertainment’s project for debut of its new boy band “WIN”, is receiving positive responses.

At noon on the 28, YG released four songs written by the members of Team A and B for the competition in the final battle, on different music streaming web-sites.

Among them, Team A’s title song “Go Up” is ranked high in music charts as of the 28 (1pm), in 5th place on Daum Music, 7th on Mnet, 15th on Naver Music, 17th on Melon. Team B’s title song “” is ranked 13th on Daum Music, 11th on Mnet, 25th on Naver Music, and 29th on Melon.

Team A, the WINNER’s title song “Go Up” was composed by Gang Seung Yoon and Song Min Ho, and its lyrics were written by Gang Seung Yoon, Lee Seung Hoon, and Song Min Ho. It begins in a rather toned-down mood in minor code, but soon turns into a positive and upbeat dance music.

Team B’s title song “” was composed by B.I and Bobby, and all the members of Team B including B.I, Bobby, Kim Jin Hwan, Song Yoon Hyung, Goo Jun Hwe, and Kim Dong Hyuk took part in writing the song’s lyrics. It has a powerful rap, appealing melody in the latter part, as well as a splendid string section and R&B part.

Besides, “JUST ANOTHER BOY”, the song with which Team A and B competed in the “same track different song” mission in the final third battle, was released, too. Team A’s Nam Tae Hyun, Lee Seung Hoon, and Song Min Ho wrote the lyrics of the song and Gang Seung Yoon, Nam Tae Hyun, and Song Min Ho composed the song. Team B’s “JUST ANOTHER BOY” was composed by B.I and Bobby both for its lyrics and melody, to make it a song wholly different from Team A’s.

Meanwhile, after three votes, Team A has been selected as the winner, so they will debut as boy band “WINNER”.

THE YG VIRUS HAS INFECTED THE WORLD ONCE MORE.. WIN ALBUM AT THE TOP OF THE CHARTS

It hasn’t been so long since the final battle of WIN: Who is Next was aired, but the YG virus is taking the world on as the newly-released WIN Final Battle EP gradually climbing up at the top of the charts immediately after its release just today, October 28, 2013!

The tracks might have been lagging in the Korean music charts, but the boys’ album went skyrocketing on the iTunes chart, constantly placing on the Top 5 Albums in the Asian region.

The Final Battle EP ranked at the top of the seemingly impenetrable Japan iTunes album charts at #1, along with Thailand. The album is at #2 in Hong Kong and in Singapore; #3 in Malaysia and Indonesia while #4 in the Philippines.

The boys’ bittersweet journey with WIN might have ended, but it culminated to a very promising career, setting up a new record under the YG label. They are the trainees that amazingly captured the heart of so many fans all around the world!

With no formal debut, both Team A and Team B’s tracks are ranking high on the Korean music charts and on the iTunes chart in different places – power rookies as they are! The tracks are still climbing up slowly at the top of the local music charts.

Team A, the winner of the reality survival show is set as an opening act for Big Bang’s upcoming Dome Tours starting November 16, 2013. Their debut is set on December this year.

Meanwhile, Team B is expected to get back to the YG training rooms to prepare for an even bigger explosion that are greatly anticipated by the two sister fandoms of both teams, that might happen mid next year.

The fanwars are over. Both teams stood on stage on the night of October 26 all as winners, with all members still sharing the same dream that will soon become a reality.

It’s time to support each other with both teams sharing the same goal of reaching the highest point on the rankings. It is anticipated that the success of this album will compel their entertainment label, YG, to debut Team B sooner than expected.

The YG virus  started to spread `round the world once more. Let’s make this happen!
