so I'm alive and procrastinating once more and taking advantage of the fact that AFF isn't blocked on my laptop lol

1. Pick five words that you know other people (friends, family, teachers, significant others, critics, etc.) use or might use to describe you. Assess how accurate you believe these perceptions are.

Man, that last sentence makes me shudder because school.

Cute: To an extent, I suppose. Most of the time I choose to act cute because it amuses my friends, but I don’t think I’m naturally cute/cute all the time.

Fit: Fairly accurate, although not necessarily right now since I haven’t done any exercise for the past month.

Funny: This comes from my siblings, because when we’re together we do really weird things (especially my brother)

Young: One of my favourite pastimes is to get people to guess how old I am, because they usually get it wrong. And then they tell me I look young for my age, which will be good in the future.

Insane: Only in the company of my sports friends because we do really, really, really weird/stupid things like stealing kettles from other people’s hotel rooms

I found that pretty hard? I don’t know how other people describe me, other than cute/short.

2. What's your current favorite kpop song (most played within the last month) and why?

Between The Lips (50cm) by IU, because I downloaded her album recently and it was one of the best songs on it.

3. What's something you've gained from participating in fandom that you never expected to gain?

I don’t really know what I was expecting to gain in the first place, but I suppose friends? I met a lot of people through AFF and made heaps of friends who I could talk to about kpop or writing or just AFF.

4. Who out of the kpop artists you know of do you have the most respect for? Can be an entire group or an individual, whether a member of a group or a soloist. Try not to pick based on superficial factors or things like an artist's concept unless it was actually created/decided by that artist. You don't even have to like the artist's music, just respect them for how they approach being an artist.

Infinite. Coming from a small company and terrible dorms, they’ve all worked so hard to get where they are today – world tours, solo albums and all that. I saw a picture on Tumblr with Sunggyu and Nell, and the caption was talking about how Sunggyu was achieving his dream and working with his own idols, which made me really proud. I actually respect all kpop artists, because they all work so hard to debut and then to get recognition, and they always get so much criticism, especially the girls.

5. What's one seemingly small thing in your life that you are very grateful for?

My bed is really, really comfortable, even though it makes it harder to get out of it in the mornings.

6. When is the last time you paused to reflect on your life from a broader perspective (e.g. re-evaluating long-term goals, examining your own personal growth, etc.). If you are comfortable sharing, please tell me a bit about what you found when you looked inside yourself.

I tend to reflect on my life frequently, although not too deeply. In terms of personal growth, I feel like I’ve relapsed a bit – when I was younger, I was a lot more hard-working and opinionated, but now I feel lazy and indecisive, especially when it comes to school.  I’ve thought a little bit on the future, mostly just what I want to study in university, but I haven’t really come to a conclusion.

7. Who on AFF do you admire the most? You can name as many users as you'd like, and the admiration can be based on anything from writing skills to graphic skills to personal integrity, etc.

Eris, for being able to write well and talk about issues on AFF in a way that’s interesting but also effective; MusicChibi and SKID_11 for making amazing posters (including mine!)

8. What is one trait you tend to find yourself envying in other people? Is there any particular reason for this?

Okay, this is pretty shallow but ABS. I envy people who have abs (or at least, flat stomachs), mainly because it looks awesome and it’s really impressive (especially for girls) but also because fitness is a big part of my life.

9. What's the last published book you read? What was it about, and would you recommend it to other people? Please name the author if you can remember/find it.

House of Hades, by Rick Riordan. It’s part of the Percy Jackson series, and it came out a few weeks ago. I’m not sure I would recommend the book specifically, since it’s fourth of the series (which is a sequel to the first series), but I would definitely recommend Percy Jackson. They’re funny and interesting, although it’s probably directed to those in their teens/pre-teens. But I still enjoy them.

10. What do you think is one of your greatest flaws? Do you ever try to compensate for or remedy this flaw, and if so, how?

I think laziness is a pretty big flaw, mostly because I have no motivation especially when it comes to school.  But since it’s school, I end up doing things eventually, just out of necessity.

11. Take a few minutes to take the MBTI personality test give here. Which type are you? Read about your type and assess how accurate you think description is. (Note: This isn't the official MBTI instrument, so don't take the results too seriously. Sometimes your result will change depending on when you take it, so don't be so quick to fixate on your first result ever as your type. Also, since it's based on self-reported answers, you have to be very honest with yourself in order to get accurate results. Choose what you think is really how you are rather than how you'd like to be. Last, but not least, you're an individual, so take these descriptions with a grain of salt. They can be useful for understanding yourself but aren't meant to be limiting on who you are and/or can be.)

Apparently, I’m an ESFP (Extraversion, Sensing, Feeling, Perceiving). I feel only a few aspects apply to me, and sometimes only in specific situations (sometimes I have no hand-eye coordination). The rest I found pretty irrelevant, because I don’t think I’m attractive, a good performer or the life of the party.

ceebs to tag other people but yay for some self reflection and procrastination

5. I envy you. My dorm bed is ridiculously uncomfortable. It's the mattress, which is really stiff and creaky. It took weeks of sleeping on it to make it a bit softer, but even now it's still a pain.

6. "but now I feel lazy and indecisive, especially when it comes to school." Same here. =.=

7. Aww, thank you. *hugs*

8. I envy people who have very toned bodies. I kind of envy people who have any sort of physical fitness because I very obviously lack it even if I'm not noticeably overweight. I just don't have the motivation to be a fitness-holic, though.

9. Oh, I haven't kept up with the sequel series for Percy Jackson.

11. Wow, you're my exact opposite, LOL. Not necessarily a bad thing though.
