Leave Daesung Alone!

Seriously people. This is starting to really annoy me.

Two years ago, in 2011, Daesung was involved in a car accident (you see the emphasis on accident?) which led to the death of a motorcyclist. The accident occured when he was driving home to his family on a vacation, at around 1:30 in the morning on May 31st, on the Yanghwa bridge. Here's what happened.

A motorcylist was drunk, yet still attempting to drive. He ended up crashing headfirst into a lamppost. The impact sent him reeling back onto the streets, where he lay unconscious. A taxi driver saw him and swerved around him, then stopped, so that he could see what was wrong with the motorcyclist. Another car was not far behind the taxi, and behind the second car was Daesung. The second car successfully swerved around the motorcyclist and the taxi; however, Daesung did not. Shocked by the sudden lane change of the second car, and the fact that there was a stopped taxi in front of him, Daesung accidently hit the accelerator instead of the brake, running over the motorcylist and crashing into the taxi. 119 (The Korean 911) was called, and police and ambulances came. The motorcylist was pronounced dead, and Daesung taken into custody.

See, there you have it. This was an accident. Do you understand this? An accident. Daesung wasn't even drunk!

So stop saying he's a murderer!

I came across a video of Daesung admitting that he saw comments calling him a murderer, cried, and "had bad thoughts." I'll leave it up to you to think of what "bad thoughts" may mean.

He's not a murderer! He was in the wrong place at the wrong time and didn't have the correct reactions! It could happen to anybody!

You wanna keep calling him a murderer?
