taehyung was born in a middle class family. he has an older sister who's three years older than him and their relationship is quite close. his relationship with his parents isn't bad either, although he's closer to his dad than his mom. his dad is a restaurant owner while his mother is a housewife. his love for music started when he was 6. his sister used to play piano for him and he'll sing about anything (including delicious ice cream from the store next door). from then, his dad decided to give him a notebook where he can write about anything. when he was 11, he watched a performance of tiger jk on tv and that's when he fell in love with rap. it doesn't help that his cousin, namjoon, also liked to rap. his grades were never excellent, but it wasn't that bad either. until now, he still has that notebook that his dad gave him and decided to cherish it forever. because hey, he could turn those lyrics about ice cream into a song later on.

taehyung loves challenges. he likes to challenge himself and try something new everyday. he's considered as adventurous and a risk taker. perhaps, it's because of his young age but taehyung may seem fearless at times. he seems to have no fear of anyone and he'll talk without thinking. yes, his words may be blunt but that's just him being honest. once he sets his goal, he's determined to reach it. no matter how many obstacles he has to cross, he'll definitely cross it. although he seems oblivious to his surroundings, taehyung sure knows what's happening around him. during a team challenge or task, he'll make sure that no one will feel left out by asking them to tell their opinions and whatnot. he thinks that communication is the number one key to everything. no one is able to shake the ground where he's standing. he's proud of everything he has done and tries to live without regrets. of course, that's a lie. he still has a few regrets here and there but he tries to forget about it and focus on his present and future instead.
taehyung is definitely a team player. he thinks that a team is better than one person. though sometimes, he's not easily satisfied with his works. that's why he tends to make last minute changes. others seem to be slightly annoyed at his indecisive self. taehyung only wants to do his best to get thg best result. his onstage personality isn't that much different. it's just that he seems to warm up a bit more on stage than off stage. or maybe that's just him who loves to perform on stage. taehyung may seem serious but he still knows how to joke. even sometimes he like to tease his hyungs or friends and laugh at the littlest thing that they said. love is probably out from his dictionary. haven't experienced love yet, he mostly gets his lyrics' inspirations from movies that he watches. and when it comes to girls, he'll turn into the world's number one idiot.
