Good doctor ep1 [thoughts]

GOOD DOCTOR EP 1

Exams are over and so freedom begins.

With freedom comes boredom when you realise that there's not many exciting things you plan on doing with your spare time.

That is why I have decided to use up all of that free time to catch up on k dramas which I have recorded beforehand on tv.

One of those k dramas includes good doctor.

Now, I've been meaning to express my feelings so many times-whether to my friends or on twitter-because I find this drama to be not only very fascinating at times, but also very irritating.

||As to why I find it irritating, it has something to do with how the other characters in the drama treat the main character, Park Shi On ( Joo Won ).||

But is twitter really the place to vent out your frustrations? Unless you don't mind having many people unfollow you ( unlike myself ) I'm sure you'd find it satisfying. Unfortunately though I'd like to keep my followers.

Furthermore, do friends really make you feel more relaxed after you tell them everything you hate about the drama? NO. Especially those who haven't watched the drama yet, they just nod and pretend to listen when in retrospect they're probably wishing you'd just stop blabbering already. This makes me feel really REALLY unsatisfied.

So to vent out everything I have stored inside of me I decided to write a blog post since I have just finished watching episode 2, and let me tell you - I'm kinda pissed.

EPISODE 1

>When their so-called "friends" force Shi On and Hyung to go inside an abandoned mine
Seriously, what the hell kids!?
I was literally disgusted when I saw this scene because it depicts how messed up kids are sometimes.
"Go inside and get me something then I won't bully your brother" what kind of logic is that?
It is ridiculous to risk your life just so you could "play" with someone who's not even worth playing with, let alone someone who used to bully you a couple of times.
The fact that hyung thought it was a fair request and went into the abandoned mine to find the thing they wanted made me speechless. seriously speechless.
And then he died, in front of his little brother. Who didn't see that coming seriously?
How sad for Shi On. He had to witness his brother's death after he witnessed his rabbit's death.
(I would've loved to punch those little kids who caused all of this.

>The kid who got injured when a big sign board accidentally fell onto him
Now, I know kids can be really clueless sometimes but seriously
you see a giant signboard dangling from the ceiling and you just stand there looking at it?
really?
I was expecting the board to fall onto him tbh because that was quite obvious.
Now getting onto the part where Shi On performs surgery on the spot-
I find it very repulsive to see blood oozing out from the kid's body even though I know it's fake blood. I mean, I'm not like those people who faint whenever they see blood but still, I do get disgusted at such scenes.
Even so, I will continue to watch this drama because I am quite interested in the storyline ( not only because I think Shi On is hot *coughs* *coughs*if that's what you're thinking )

>The Kim Do Han guy
Throughout the rest of the episode, I have constantly been pulling back the urge to punch my tv screen whenever this guy appeared.
His malicious words and his cold-guy-appearance makes me really really annoyed at him.
(Now, I'm not hating the actor okay, I'm hating the character he's playing.)
They say that the reason he's so mean to Shi On is because he blames himself for his brother's death ( who ironically, also had disabilities ) but I don't want to give in to this bs.
He should learn to be more professional. Hating someone innocent because of your personal regrets is unprofessional and stupid in my opinion.

Now, I had way more things to rant about but unfortunately, I've forgotten most of them since I watched this episode last Thursday(?) I think?
What I can't forget is that I was so angry to see cute little Shi On get picked on by many people who look down on people with autism, I mean c'mon! Cut the guy some slack would ya'?
Anyway, if you feel that I'm being too picky and I should just enjoy the drama, then please don't ever visit my blog again.
Because in the land of kdramas, there's always that one character, one plot twist, one accident etc that makes you get all boiled up inside and unable to breathe.

If you can't understand my POV then I'm sorry.
However, if you DO feel the same way as I do, please look forward to my thoughts on ep 2, which is coming up soon~
And if you yourself have written down your rants on this drama or any other dramas on your blog, please link it to me in the comments section!

Thanks for reading!
