Personality Traits: Harsh, Sophisticated, Intelligent, laid-back, hardworking

Personality: The closest word that can describe Jin is tsundere, meaning someone who is initially cold and hostile towards another person before gradually showing his or her warm and soft side over time. Being like this, has caused Jin to not have many close friends which in turn, caused him a lack of motivation to change his ways. Pratically raising himself, this makes him more sophistated than most people his age, earning the nickname of Grandfather. What didn't help is that he is a bit of a know-it-all, for he is always curled up with a book, learning about new things - he always has an answer for everything. You would think so far that he would also be an , that he would always be scolding his members, but in all actuality, he is very laid-back and unless someone asks for his input, he will not correct people. The saying ' I hat e to get close, but I hate being alone' applies to Jin.

Background: Born in Busan, Jin spent most of his days held up in his room studying. His mother left him, his father, and his twin brother when they were just two. At school he was teased a lot for not have ing a mother , the bullying may have been a contributing factor to his anxiety. After tired of being taunted and beaten up everyday, Jin dropped out of school in first of highschool. In that year, he was ranked number 2 in the entire school. His father was understanding, but was extremely dissipointed in him for dropping out of school and made him promise to not slack around.

After walking home from a job interview, Jin had to walk past YG Entertainment and saw that there was a line outside. After asking the people, he found out that they were waiting to audition. Desprite, he remembered his brother always commenting that he was a extremely good rapper, he made the desision to audition there. {will tell later how he switched to SM/Woolim}
