(Confident, Talkative, Loyal)

Many say that when you first meet Naleen, She always has a smile and speaks as if she has known you for years. Her witty attitude and funny comebacks always makes people feel comfortable around her. Naleen isn't the type to judge on the spot and believes in getting to know others on a deeper level first. Anything she does or says comes out before she can even think. That's one flaw of this trait. Some stuff she says may get her in trouble. Even though she doesn't notice, she gladly does things confidently because she wants to put her best foot foreward. Naleen is definitely not a shy child. She's an open book and is always willing to be there for you as a friend. Naleen is never afraid of dares and is always willing to do anything. Not unless it's bad and she doesn't want to, then she won't. She's not a person to be pushed around. All in all, Naleen is a person that will definitely get you out of your shell and step outside of the box. Loyalty is something that everyone admires her for. She knows when to shut and to keep a secret. Naleen believes that if anyone was to tell a story, it should come out of the person who is responsible.

(Strong, Competitive)

Naleen isn't the type to dwell on things too long. If it's minor things, then she is able to get over it during the day. Her motto is, "Save your tears for the pillow". It's something she puts on herself personally. Naleen doesn't like to come off as weak at all. She knows she can stand her own ground and is always sticking up for herself if it's necessary. If something were to hurt her, she tries to shake it off by distracting herself with walks or work. Naleen believes that it will occupy her mind good enough so that she doesn't think about it. Even though she thinks shes strongs, it sometimes gets to her. If it's something that really bothers her, she'll think about it all day. Naleen isn't someone you can coax easily. She goes by what she believes and will do what is right for her. She isn't the type that is gullible and knows what's good. Her strength can either be good or bad in different situations. Naleen has a great respect for her heart, body, mind and soul. Something that people don't get to see very often is that Naleen is secretly competitve. She does it sometimes for fun and games. But, if you make a deal with her, she will not back down. Her mind set is, "I have to win". She will try to hide that she is upset if she loses.

(Ambitious, Liberal)

If anything, this girl loves to take chances. Naleen knows her limits but is always willing to risk some things for fun. She kind of fun is more of the appropriate kind. Being too wild isn't so classy after all. Naleen likes taking spontaneous trips outdoors and loves doing things that will make her feel good about herself. She isn't someone that can sit still. Naleen has an inner clock that is always ticking and signifying that she has to be doing something to move ahead. She won't sit around and wait or expect to achieve these goals. She gets up and goes for them. Naleen will get things done even if there is complications on the way. In this case, Naleen can sometimes discourage herself. Even though this is a great trait of hers, it can damage her pride if she gets shot down. Nonetheless, she'll always get back up and take another step in her life. Another thing is that Naleen doesn't like to be old school. She is open to new ideas and opinions. She loves to be different and likes feedback.

▬ {  life  story }   ;  

Naleen was born in Los Angeles, California. Her parents decided to split when she was 7. Her mother moved back to Korea with her family. Most of Naleen's life was traveling from the states to Krea. Because of all the traveling, she had to be home schooled. At the age of 15, Naleen decided that she wanted to move to Korea to be with her mother. The reason behind that was because her father had gotten remarried and her step mother had brought her 2 children in. Naleen never minded. She was actually excited to have 2 more siblings. But unfortunately, her father began neglecting her from "his" family. So, Naleen took things into her own hands and became independent. Even though her father disapproved of her leaving, Naleen moved to Seoul with her mother. Her life there was much better. She had great attention from grandparents as well. Her heart was more at ease and she felt the love that she didn't from her father. After moving to Seoul, Naleen was able to enroll into public school and began maing friends and memories. She was able to get a job at a local news paper business as the person who proofreads and re-types the stories that are going into the paper.

*Side Note: Since she was born in the US, her parents wanted her to have an american name along side her korean name. They decided to name her after their doctor who was helping them along side their pregnancy. Her parents believed that if she was named after someone who was generous and intelligent, then their daughter would become the same. 

*Another Side Note: Naleen's parents migrated to California as teens and met in a public school. After they got married, Naleen's mother's parents decided to go back to Korea. Instead of leaving with them, Naleen's parents stayed behind to make a life for themselves. 1 year later they gave birth to Naleen.
