Idols leaving their groups...

First Nicole from KARA and now Dongho from UKiss (who I love). I'm kinda late in hearing about this, but this really is y news. I wish the best for him really though and want him to take care of himself (idol life has to be so hard, omg)... but still, selfishily, it makes me sad. T_T  

I would be so devastated if/when this happens to SHINee   //holds all KISSMEs in the world//

 

NH Media announced the news, stating, "Dongho will be absent from team promotions starting with U-KISS' new album which will be released this month, and he will be putting a hold on his activities as a celebrity."

"Starting from the beginning of this year, Dongho's determination about being active as a celebrity weakened, and he has revealed that he doesn't believe his health condition and stamina fit well with the life of a singer... After a long discussion with his parents, we have decided to accept their decision... Dongho expressed that he wanted to live a normal life rather than that of a celebrity."

The agency concluded, "Although the decision of Dongho's leave from the group is one that causes harm to the team's activities, the members have all decided to accept this change as well... Although we feel burdened by the empty spot, the group will release a new album as scheduled as six members.'

that's so sad. he probably left because they work their asses off but still don't get much recognition. I was heartbroken when Alexander and Kibum left. I just hope no one else leaves. U-Kiss FIGHTING~!

Sad...once Kevin leaves that group is pretty much done. They lost hope once they switched members...I used to support them strongly byt after this many years they will prob never win on a music program :(

It's sad for fans, but it's the rare group that lasts forever. That's just how it is. Contracts end, groups have falling outs, and some realize that the adoration of thousands of screeching teenage girls and hormonal men just isn't worth the loss of freedom, privacy, and opportunity to date/marry and live life the way they want without the world being their judge and jury. Some idols may truly have what it takes to survive as soloists and being in a group just doesn't benefit as much. *shrug* Idol life was never meant to be a permanent career (not if you want to keep your health, sanity, and some shred of dignity). Whatever Dongho and Nicole decide to do with their lives and careers from now on, all we can do is wish them luck and hope that leaving their groups turns out to be worth it.

.... I really don't know what to say... this is so unexprcted... O wish the best for him though... it was already a shock when Kibum left back (he is my bias for gods sake!) Now fot Dobgho I'm just speechless...
