Personality : Chanmi or born as Chelsea is your typical Californian girl with swag. She is also very sweet to the people close to her. She also loves annoying people especially her older brother. She is also not afrad to speak up to herself, very blunt and frank. Chanmi is also a pacifist, she doesn't want any fight going around her. That's not only one of her unique traits, she is also a keen observer.
She also loves baking, since her mother owns a very renowned Pastry Shop in the US. Chanmi is a very hard woking girl always putting out an all nighter ever since she started training. She is also very childish for she loves annoying people and acts like a 5 year old if she doesn't receive too much attention from someone.
Chanmi is also a prankster loving pulling pranks to everyone which often leads to troubles. One thing about Chanmi is she isn't afraid of their CEO. She is also an attention seeker for she doesnt receive too much attention from her family since she was young. She was also a quite a rebel during her younger years.
Chanmi can also be describe as a cold girl for she doesn't like breaking the ice first. It will take months for you to get her complete trust. She is also good with her words and also very funny when you get to know her. Being very childish she owns a lot of stuff toys.
She isn't boastful about her family being rich, her father is a renowned doctor while her mother is a famous pastry chef in US. She loves her grandparents so much for they took good care of her when she was young. She also has that hate-love relationship with her brother for the two always bicker even into simplest things.
Overall Chanmi is like water, she always go with the flow and sometimes be very cold when water freezes and turns to ice.
Background: Chanmi is the 2nd child and 1st daughter of Doctor Lee and Charlene (a renwoned chef). Born in the same hospital of f(x)'s Krystal. She started learning the piano at the age of 3. She is also living with her grandparents due to her stay in California. During her childhood days she is often praised with her singing and ability skills always joining competitions.
She is close with SNSD's Jessica and f(x)'s Krystal for they're neighbors that time. When she was 8 years old she started liking to bake due to her mother's influence. At the same year she also set foot to her father's home country South Korea.
At the age of 9 she already experience bullying due to the fact she can't speak Korean, often mistreated by her classmates but she didn't give up. She showed them that she was as good as them or sometimes even better. All changed when she joined a talent competition at her school and was also scouted by YG entertainment.
During her trainee years she always put up an all nighter always practicing till her body gave up. That made her close with YG's G-Dragon and Teddy Park. Since then she started learning to compose songs. Due to this fact, she became great at rapping which added to all her talents. And due to pulling an all nighter always she became really good at dancing.From that day on she started rapping day and night making her pretty good at it. Dancing also made her good with catching the beats of the song, making her perfect pitch a better way to use in rapping, She was also featured in the mvs 'That XX' and 'Heartbreaker'.
After 2 year of training (11 years of age) she stopped to focus more on her studies. But another hobby came up to her 'acting'. She was always the star of the school plays. At the same year she started teaching herself to play the guitar. Being perfect pitch she didn't have that much trouble when learning. But the bullying didn't end also, one time her guitar was broken due to some girls who threw her guitar from the 2nd floor. This made Chanmi very angry and sad.
Due to lack of parent's attention she was a rebel that time, she skipped her class when she was 12. When she was skipping class that time she was scouted again by a Seven Season's agent and she agreed missing the scent of training rooms and what-so-ever.
Chanmi trained with her 200% will, wanting to debut and get her parents attention.
