Koizora [Sky of Love]

*cto

So yeah, I'm new here. :"> And I just watched Sky of Love (Koizora). A Heartbreaking Japanese movie lead by Yui Aragaki and Haruma Miura. I copied this movie from a friend. She said, after watching the movie, her eyes swollen cause she cried the whole night before sleeping. I missed this feeling... Heart being torn by a movie. So, yea I watched it together with my mom and sisters. :">

Gaaad, the movie was intense. I mean, some scenes were awkward, but as a whole, it was beautiful and very tragic. Mika endured all the painful feeling that happened in her life; being , tortured by Saki, pushed away by Hiro, losing her baby and watching Hiro die. And after all that, she knew she had to smile on and be like the lake that she always compared Hiro to, always moving forward no matter what she may face- not just for him or her baby, but for herself.

Mika was just absolutely the sweetest protagonist, especially after telling the baby that Saki was pregnant with that it had to be strong. Yui Aragaki was just perfect. And Hiro… my heart. geez. He was soooooo.. *____* I did feel sorry for Yu though, but I like to think he got his happy ending as well. :)

“I’ll be the sky and watch over Mika.”
-Hiro.

“When the sky is clear, it means Hiro is happy. When it’s raining, Hiro is crying. When it’s sunset, it means that Hiro is embarassed. And when it’s the night sky, Hiro is warmly hugging me.”
-Mika

If I had not met you that day, then I would not have experienced that pain and sadness, and memories filled with tears. But if I had not met you, I also would not have experienced that joy, excitement, and memories filled with tears. But…If I had not met you, I also would not have experienced that joy, excitement, preciousness, happiness, and the feeling of absolute happiness.
