GIVE ME SUGGESTIONS PLEASE! SHOULD I JOIN OR NOT?

Hey guys! It's exotics12 here :D

So! I have a major problem right now! My school's dance club is real close with Soul Dance, a very popular dance studio for teaching dancing, hip hop, popping(they won first place in street dance at my place once), and even, kpop, and it is only in my place only. They are only popular in my place. So, of course some of you may not know them. BUT! THAT'S NOT THE CASE.

What I'm freaking out about is that.. yesterday my dance club leader just posted something new. I'll translate to you guys :)

"Soul Dance is holding an event that is, KPOP COMPETITION, first prize is 1000, for any more informations and for those who wanted to join please come look for me at my class (her class name)! Joining this competition can help improve your dance skills!"

I don't know if I should go solo or team up. I would love to team up because this is MY FIRST TIME JOINING A DANCE COMPETITION! But, at the same time I'm scared and afraid if I screwed up or didn't have much experienced. 

Because, it's FREAKING ONE THOUSAND CASH! I'm pretty sure they are expecting a remix of songs. And I'm pretty sure LOADS of people in my city are participating and they are all such TALENTED AND GOOD PLUS EXPERIENCED PEOPLE! :((

please give me suggesitons if I should join or not, and if I do what kind of songs would I use? Because, I'm thinking that this is the first step to my dream :)

I'm planning to audition next year if I have supporters in Youtube. I would be uploading my first cover with my friend in Youtube by the end of the year, you know, after all the exams are done :)

PLEASE GIVE SUGGESTIONS GUYS! :D

Join! You will love it! Even though it's hard but still you'll love it! I'm in like a lot of dance classes and it's fun!! You meet new people, get to know them and dance a lot and it's really fun to dance hip hop since I'm in hip hop. Also you'll have fun, so you should join ;)

Just join it. Even if you loose it's ok because experience is the best teacher (?).

I'm in this dance club too! It's called def school. I enjoyed it a lot. You should try it out because Dance clubs are really fun~

I think you should join because I know how you feel about messing up. For key club convention we have this talent show where each school club performs and my high school chosen dancing as the talent. At first I was excited like you but I got a bit stressed because I didn't want everyone's hard work go to waste if I mess up since I heard two other high schools are known for their dance routines. So I practiced extra extra hard that it questioned some of the officers since I already knew how to dance. So what I am trying to say is that if you work your hardest and your team knows that then that is what really matters. I wish you good luck and hope you come down to a decision that comes from you and what you want because it is important to decide upon that since it is your life and stuff ^^

you should join^_^ i joined a dance competition in my school with a kpop song even though the others werent but i came in 3rd place and i got cash:D hehe you should join, it's a good experience:)
