Background - She had a fairly normal background, since her family had a stable money source. But when it stopped, things went really bad. It was around that time when Yunho wanted to become a trainee and debut in SM. Their father did not agree at all and wanted him to study to become a lawyer. The family was split apart due to Yunho and their father's argument. When Yunho left to go to Seoul, Jinrin decided to support her brother's dreams.

She learnt that the world was cruel after her brother debuted. Fans kept pestering her, sasaeng fans always visited the house. They were rude and cruel to people who disturbed them. They would always visit when Jihye and Jinrin was alone in the house. Since Jihye can't stand confrontation, Jinrin decided to become the one who would stand up for them. She became introverted and never revealed her feelings since she didn't want Yunho to worry about her. She took up dancing since everyone expected her to, but she found that rapping was where her true skills lurk. At school, she had to behave her best since they all knew that she was Yunho's sister. She didn't want to bring him down. She did her best academically but had problems with her personality with the other students. They say she is too passive-aggressive.  

Personality - She is a super-formal, sarcastic, snarky, blunt, and brutally honest girl who is known to her family as the smartass. Like her brother, she is a perfectionist. She doesn't like it when people see her cry so she always cries alone in her room. People say she looks like a girl that would always smile, but in fact, she is stoic and introverted who likes being alone. She is cold and distant to most because of her trust issues. She's very rebellious and doesn't play well with most rules. 

On the upside, she is actually an innocent little girl who had to mature early. She has what her friends call 'episodes'. Her episodes are actually moments of her being erted. She has a tendency to hold grudges, even on petty things. She rarely does aegyo, but when she does, no one can resist her. Personality - He looks intimidating at first glance, but he is actually a little boy who loves grabbing the attention of his hyungs and noona. He likes doing aegyo and skinships. He doesn't get why people like Luhan and Lay don't like taking showers with others and keeps pestering them about it
How you act around each other - She avoids being with him alone like the plague after the 'incident that must not be mentioned'. When she must be near him, she tries to ignore his prescence and work hard. Seeing her efforts and aggression during practices, Tao nicknamed her Laohu, which was tiger in Chinese, because she acted like one: sneaky and quiet when they sense danger, yet aggressive in the face of it.
