My Kpop Story

Hi, my name is Madison and I live in Kingston, Ontaio in Canada

I can't say I was a fan for a long time because I really wasn't, I wish I was a fan from the beginning but I just wasn't.

I've been a fan since 2012, only a year and I've already become as I can consider a loyal friend, I mean I only liked UKISS.

My love started when I was at school grade 9 and my friend was listening to music and the nosy I am I asked what and she said kpop and my exact words were "what the hell is kpop?" and she explained "Korean pop music" and I was very skeptical until she showed me UKISS' Believe MV

I kinda fell in love right away but I'll be honest took me a while to get into it after that, I only liked at least 4 songs by UKISS and it took me a while.

Let's just skip months ahead and now I'm a super fan of UKISS and then I found SHINee and BIGBANG along with GD, a few months EXO & F(x) and now I liked more than 10 bands.

In only less than 2 years I fell in love with EXO, SHINee, GD, BIGBANG, UKISS, Infinite, BAP, BTS, Super Junior, SNSD, f(x), MBLAQ, & VIXX

I have a tumblr dedicated to the only thing that brings me happiness, I live in a city were no concerts happen, not much really, sometimes awesome things happen but not on a daily basis.

I own one piece of kpop merch, zero albums in real life, I'm not the richest I don't get to buy kpop merch whenever and whatever like many other fans. Sometimes I feel like less of a fan, I know I shouldn't but I do.

I have one friend in real life who likes kpop thank god, I feel like I would go crazy if I didn't have here.

I have met a lot of funny, awesome and sweet people through this, over the internet, I feel like if tumbr and facebook didn't exist I would go crazy not being able to express myself anywhere.

I listen to kpop whenever and whereever. When I walk to school, in class, doing homework, on the computer, on the bus, anywhere I don't think I'll ever get sick of it considering it never stops.

When one band stops their activities for their new song another band comes out with a new song. It's never ending, non-stop love for this.

No one really understands how much music can effect and change a person, I can almost garuntee I wouldn't be like this if kpop wouldn't have happened. Before kpop I was how would you say musiclly challanged, I didn't know what genre applied to me at all.

I didn't know what to like and then this comes, I actually like it, my friend told me "Once you're in, there is no leaving" and I think she said that because no one would want to leave you know.

I love kpop and I hope I get more things to prove it.
