First of all I would like to say that "I Hear Your Voice" is the best drama I have ever seen!

The other day I started watching a drama called "I Hear Your Voice". Two days later, I finished it. You may be thinking "how in the world did she finish it the drama so quickly?". The drama was so good that I just had to watch the episodes back to back. 

So my past few days looked a little something like this:
- Woke up 
- Ate breakfast
- Started to watch "I Hear Your Voice"
- Ate lunch
- Continued watching
- Ate Dinner
- Continued to watch the drama until 4:00am (I was going to stay up later but my eyes didn't let me)
- Fell asleep
- Woke up at 11:45am
- Watched until 1:00pm
- Had... breakfast? I don't think it really counts as breakfast since it's also past lunch time haha
- Watched more episodes
- Had dinner
- Watched til 3:00am
- Woke up at 11:00am
- Had breakfast
- Watched more episodes
- Ate lunch
- Watched a few more
- Had dinner
- Left the house to hang out with friends
- Came back home at around 9:00pm
- Watched the final episode
- Completed watching the series
- Laid on my bed for about half an hour contemplating about how awesome the drama was.

So yeah. That's pretty much what I did. I don't usually have time to watch dramas like this but right now I'm on a school break ^^ WOOO!

Whenever I finish a drama I usually lay in my bed for half an hour thinking "now what..." (does anyone else do that too? XD) but after watching "I Hear Your Voice" I laid in my bed with a great sense of satisfaction thinking "WOW! That was amazing."

Why did I watch the drama?

I gave the drama a chance because it had romance and comedy. Two genres, in my opinion, that every drama needs. At first I was very reluctant about watching the drama because it was also a thriller, fantasy, crime and mystery. I'm new to all these genres since I've only ever watched romcoms of students and teens. I got a bit bored with watching thes kind of dramas because they're all so predictable with no real story other than the girl trying to get with the guy.

I've always imagined crime and mystery to be very boring and I always thought that fantasy would be weird. But dayum I was wrong! The aspects of crime and mystery had me intrigued throughout the entire drama and the fantasy side made things far more interesting. 

At first I was worried that the drama would disappoint because since it had 18 eisodes, 18 hours of my life would have been wasted if the drama was bad. So I did a bit of research and I found out that the drama was rated 9 out of 10 stars. THAT'S 9 BEEPING STARS OUT OF TEN!!! I figured that this drama had to be pretty darn good with that rating. And turns out it was.

Finding out Lee Jong Suk played the leading male role sealed the deal and I HAD to watch it. 
Me: *goes on google and searches "i hear your voice dramawiki" and looks at the cast* "ok so it's got lee bo young, kim so hyun, lee jong suk... wait. what?... OMYGOSH!!! LEEE JOOONG SUUUK!!!" *goes on google and searches "gooddrama i hear your voice episode 1"*
Lee Jong Suk is my top favourite male korean actor. I've seen Jong Suk in prior to "I Hear Your Voice" in the drama "Secret Garden" and it was like love at first sight~ When I saw Han Tae Ssun I fell in "love" instantly! No exaggeration! I can't help but swoon over his good looks (I mean, how can you not?) and his acting is so believable! I also think it's really cool how Yoon Sang Hyun (aka Oska) is also in the drama. He played the role of Laywer Cha really well. 

Pros and Cons

Pros: 
- The first episode is not boring unlike some dramas
- Not one bad actor/actress
- No boring episodes
- Every episode has significance
- Satisfying ending that closes the story extremely well
- Lovable characters
- Humour pops up here and there and never fails to make me giggle
- A beautiful heartwarming romance in the relationship between the two protagonists
- Amazing kiss scenes
- Thriller scenes will make your heart race
- OSTs are really nice to listen to (I'm definitely getting all the songs on my phone)

Cons:
- You need a little bit of knowledge about law (eg. you need  to know what a prosecutor is)
- You will need tissues. Especially if your a crier like myself (I finished one box of tissues because of this drama)
- Some may think that the mind reading thing is too farfetched (I personally love it)
- Too many episodes (I actually think the more the better but some people think otherwirse)
- Courtroom cases may seem to go on endlessly (I found them very interesting but it may be boring to other people)
- The romance cute factor didn't increase until later episodes
- I suggest this drama for mature audiences dues to violent scenes

The drama's impact on me

After watching this drama I now believe in destiny and that everything happens for a reason giving me a more optimistic view on life.
I also learnt to not jump to conclusions without any proof or evidence and try to not be deceived because this can lead to regretful consequences.
I know that this may sound very cheezy but this drama has proven to me that true love can overcome all obstacles. Many dramas have this message and "I Hear Your Voice" just made me believe in love even more.
Before this drama I was never a fan of "noona romances". But after watching this drama I came to like it and learn the beauty of it. - In this drama, sometimes he’s a boy and sometimes he’s  a man, but she’s just as much a woman and a girl, and when she just laid her feelings bare and cried on his shoulder, I thought it was beautiful that in being true to her heart she could grow young just as much as he could grow up. - (http://www.dramabeans.com/2013/08/i-hear-your-voice-episode-18-final/) 

There's just so much I can say about this drama but I didn't want my blog to be too long! ><

If you haven't seen "I Hear Your Voice" I suggest you do ^^ It won't disapoint!
