: personality — Put her on a nice dress and pretty make up then you feel like staring at a perfect smiling girl with halo on top of her head. But that is a wrong impression. If someone manage to break through her self restraint then Shinmi won't hesitated to yell and even leave a good hit on his/her arm. Her hitting people however was a sign that Shinmi feels flustered and found herself unable to sort the situation with words. After the small outburst, Shinmi usually let incohorent apologies and stammered explanation, thus become easy to tease. This habit soon ceased after time passed, although sometimes it still happens only to her close ones. Being a bit more tomboy than other girls and her 'i-don't-care' nature makes it easier for her to interact platonically with the opposite team (read:boys). Despite of her lack of concern of her own self, Shinmi is considerably cares others more.
She doesn't much cares about anything other than being comfortable. It doesn't bother her to act a bit weird to make herself entertained either. Contradict to her short-tempered nature, when someone jokes on her about things she does, Shinmi mostly laugh it off. She believes by being an idependent individual it would serve a better benefit for herself, thus making her annoyed if anyone tried to take care of her too much. "You're not my mother" she will say jokingly, most of the time.
: background — Kang Shinmi born in July 2nd 1993. At the time her parents decided for her to be born at her mother's hometown as per wish of her grandparents. Born in Japan doesn't make her accustomed with Japanese cultires. In age of three she along with her family moved to South Korea, her father's homeland.Shinmi lives in Seoul for most of her live and had attended public school until middle school. She spends her time in track team as she finds it extremely fun to run.
Before Shinmi casted, she never thought anything special of her voice. So when a random man asked her to have an audition Shinmi threatens him, saying she would yell. But after few explanation Shinmi ended up auditioning and become a SM trainee. This happened just before she entered high school, later she attended Seoul Performing Arts High School. Prior debut Shinmi occasionally served as backing vocals for SM artist' performances.

: Shinmi never be the one who's on the spot. Her trainee schedules in her first three years consisted of practicing, talks, more practice, plays and then go home. In the other two Shinmi become closer to her sunbae, mostly from EXO and F(x) as some of them are around her age. The other trainee likes her although they will admit her short-temper sometimes scares them a bit too much.

: personality — Daehyun might not the most talkative person, rather he's one shy boy who doesn't talk much. However in despite of this trait, just like his strong vocal, Daehyun is one with tough personality. His action towards others gradually change over time. Before you realize time had passed, this guy will laugh easily around you and show that he cares about you as well. Even when he says "No comment" most of the time.
: how you will meet — Shinmi and Daehyun never MET before, at least not face-to-face. Started with a small chat at an online community, they greeted each other and start having conversation. Shinmi just became a SM trainee back then. They found a lot a similarities and become closer through the internet. However they haven't in contact after a small message from Daehyun, saying he had become a trainee although he didn't mention on what label. Because of a music show and a lot of "No comment" from Daehyun, Shinmi called his account name and caught the boy surprised. Both of them then tried to make up for the lost contact, but finds it different to talk when looking at the other's eyes.
: interactions — There are minimal of skinship so far between them as Daehyun's apparently is a lot more shy than what Shinmi had assumed. Their relationship in real life is different when they're online. Shinmi is easily outraged on things and nagged where Daehyun barely understand a thing about the deal is. But it doesn't stop them on greeting each other and share eye contacts here and there. Their accounts are also starting to get more active as well.
