sokyung lives with the 'better be prepared than not preparing anything' mindset. if there's a monthly evaluation, she'll prepare her choreography way before the scheduled evaluation and that way, she'll pass it with flying colors. she's the type who prefers to be prepared than to use her instinct to survive. she may seem distant at first glance, but when she warms up to you, expect her to be more easygoing than you thought she would be and throw jokes (although it's mostly a very lame one) at you. her way of thinking is pretty old school. yes, she thinks that a kiss isn't just a kiss, it's a thing that lovers do to show their affection. which is why this girl haven't had her first kiss yet.

a very loyal person - she cares a lot for friends, and if she says that she cares, then she really do. that's why she hates those backstabbers kind of people who betrays their friend. although she's modest, it's not to the point that she's selfless. because come on, that's just plain stupid in her opinion. she's also polite, the one who will do a 90 degree bow to anyone that she just met. sokyung could be the type who doesn't give a damn with her surroundings by meaning that if there's someone talking bad about herself, she won't care. those type of people are just attention seekers and she knows that those words they said aren't true, sokyung is the only one who knows herself the best.

although her face is usually expresionless, sokyung thinks a lot behind that blank facade. it's like her brain works 24/7 and that's why sometimes she had trouble to sleep. she loves charity and sometimes do charity work, because she thinks that those people deserve a life as good as the life that she has. heck, even she won't mind if she switched lives with them (remember what I mentioned about her saying that being selfless is stupid? she could be selfless at times yet she doesn't realize it). sokyung herself isn't the type who's easily pleased. she always thinks that she has many flaws, so she tries to improve herself every time. it made her come out as a slight perfectionist at times, but that's just because she wants the best result for herself.

sokyung was born in her father's hometown, busan. but she was raised in the capital city of south korea, seoul. her mother is a ballerina, therefore she was used to see her mother dancing ballet. ever since she was 5, she was enrolled in a ballet academy. she loves ballet. from the beautiful attire to the techniques, she loves every single thing about ballet. when her brother was born, she was excited to have little brother. but she definitely didn't expect him to grow into such an overprotective brat. jungkook has that talent for dancing rushing on his veins, but instead of becoming a ballerino, he chose hip-hop dancing instead. the jeon siblings are like the north pole and south pole - completely different. he loves loud music, she hates it. she loves vegetables, he hates it. that doesn't stop him from being possessive of her sister though.

most brothers are overprotective towards their sister, yes. but jungkook is a whole new level of overprotective. he had sabotaged countless of her sister's dates - and his reason would always be, 'he's not good enough for you'. she's beyond annoyed, but she's somehow thankful. at least she has caring brother. since their house was too far from sokyung and jungkook's dance academy (which just happened to move to a new building, a same one), they decided to move to an apartmen near there. she happily thought, 'finally, freedom'. her happiness washed away the moment his father said, 'jungkook's going with you'.

since they came from a financially stable family, the rents are paid by their parents. as they divided their chores, sokyung (of course) got the good ones such as: doing the laundry, watering the plants and cooking while jungkook received dishwashing, mopping and sweeping the floor, bathroom cleaning and throwing away the trash. and who else is the mastermind behind this other than sokyung herself. when he was about to complain, she gave him an ultimatum, 'accept it or leave'. being the one who wants to be by his sister's side 24/7, jungkook chose the first option.

soonyoung is a good guy in general. he's very likeable - thanks to his kind looks. he's easily amused by jokes and when he laughs, his eyes disappear to form a thin line. although he started as hip hop dance choregrapher, he's now able to do jazz and contemporary dances too. being down to earth, is what he does best. every time other people compliments his choreographies, he'll always responds with, 'it's not me, it's you guys (dancers) who makes this special' seriously, this guy should learn to at least accept those compliments. he works extra hard, especially if it's doing what he loves. this guy just couldn't stand calm. his feet will either move around or his mouth will start a conversation. he prefers loud places, because quiet places makes him feel lonely.

his easygoing attitude is the key to his wide social circle. he makes friends without caring who you are or what kind of person are you. the point is that he only picks those who he hangs out with so he wouldn't get bad influences. heck, even if he does hangs around with not-so-good people, he's not easily tempted. no one is able to shake the foundation where he is standing. 'i am me, and no one can change that' as quoted from him. his ideas are pure gold because sometimes he views things in a different point of view - a positive one. his optimistic attitude is contaegious so you better be careful. when he's fully inspired, it's as if his whole body took over his mind and he'll automatically dance without caring anything.

indecisive is another word to describe him. he's the one who changes his choreography a few times before feeling satisfied with it. he could be pretty stubborn at times. or in other words, strong willed. he loves dancing so much that even when he injured his foot, he'll just keep tutting with his fingers and dance with his upper body. soonyoung will dance until his last breath, he loves dancing and it's his passion to live. soonyoung's polite attitude towards women is what makes many of them swoon over him. though, he's not the type who casually dates and all. he takes relationships seriously so that's why his heart's door doesn't open often. but when he finds 'the one', he won't give up on her and will treat her the way she's supposed to be treated - with love and care 24/7.

how they met :

mr. kwon soonyoung over here, lives on the 7th floor too. yes, they brushed past against each other on busy monday mornings but that wasn't the place they officially met. one day, jungkook got promoted as a choregrapher's assistant and he was going to introduce the 'cool and awesome choreographer hyung' to his sister. you got it, soonyoung is the choreographer jungkook's working with.

why does she likes him :

sokyung never looks at him as more than a distant friend. a simple morning greeting everyday doesn't seem to make her realize that he has a crush on her. although she would admit that she's somehow happier when he's around - maybe that's just because of his positive aura.

interaction :

'good morning' 'have a nice day' 'had a tiring day?' 'sleep well' those are the greetings that they exchanged nearly every day. they just happened to finish practicing at the same time. no, it wasn't a coincidence. soonyoung was the one who always waits for her before going home. managing a good distance behind her so he could watch her from afar, watching her so that no bad guys could approach her. ever since their first meeting, he treated her a bit more special than he did with other girls. his smiles happens to be a lot brighter, his laugh alot louder and his dance moves a lot more jaw dropping when she's around.

mark is that new boy in town. although his korean language skills is still bad, he's able to make friends easily thanks to his easygoing attitude. he's communicative, he asks about things a lot, especially when it comes to the korean culture and language. he can easily read other people and other people could read him like a book, too. he opens up quite fastly to new people. being the boy from los angeles, he's an open minded person. he thinks of skinship as nothing. so once he warms up with a person, expect him to initiate skinship here and there. he treats boys and girls equally, that is unless he has found his special girl.

around the person that he likes, mark would still act normal. although sometimes, he'll stutter and make some embarrassing mistakes and such. he's very careless and sometimes he doesn't think of the consequences before doing something. he only does things that will make him happy at that moment. he definitely will give his future girl a lot of privacy. this guy is nowhere near being a possessive guy. because he trusts his partner - that she'll only look at him. he's not the romantic type of guy, so he'll always ask for suggestions to his friends. sometimes he'll subtly hint at things, and not being straightforward. he won't directly say 'i like you'. he'll plan something instead, way before he's about to confess. he can also be a bit boastful - although in a joking manner. 

how they met :

mark was that friend that mingming wanted to introduce to soonyoung. he easily became jackson 7's new member thanks to his acrobatic styled flips and smooth dance moves. it was also the day where sokyung got invited by jungkook to see him practicing. as jungkook, soonyoung and the others went out for lunch, these two were left behind. basically because mark didn't know where to go to for lunch. so mark introduced himself with his super simple korean - that's when sokyung realized that he was a foreigner. trying to be the polite person that she is, sokyung brought him to her favorite restaurant for lunch.

reason :

mark still sees sokyung as a mere friend and vice versa. and then he saw her dance, and the way she handled her clingy brother - it was cute to his eyes. the reason why he didn't want to develop feelings for her was because of soonyoung. he knew that jackson 7's leader also laid his eyes on the same girl. for that moment, he actually thinks about others - wow, the things that love could do to you. as he was drowning himself in thoughts, sokyung came into the practice room, bringing lunch for everyone. and that's when he decided that he won't back down without a fight.

interaction :

if jungkook doesn't invites sokyung to the practice room, then he will. he goes by the excuse of, "she'll teach me korean language." or, "she'll bring us lunch." and hey, soonyoung doesn't even realize that mark was the one who invited sokyung and not jungkook. sometimes, they also eat lunch together at the restaurant that sokyung brought him on their first meeting. their whole interaction involves mark initiating skinship - resting his arms on her shoulders, short hugs, and much more. of course, sometimes they get ed by the one and only jungkook. oh, wait, they got another company - it's soonyoung who'll always send them a glare or pout.
