They honestly aren't the same, but it is scary because I wrote a fanfic about 2-3 days ago with Donghae having a gold ring and Hyukjae having a silver one.

Really though, you don't have to worry either way. Just as boredhousewife stated, they have many matching items and they've been together for over 7 years. Plus they have stated themselves that they have a lifelong commitment to one another.
