Yeah. So, I was reading a supernatural fanfiction. The words 'wolf' and 'werewolf' were used. I got confused because I was thinking if they differ.

And that's why I tried to research. (Don't get me wrong, though. I'm not a nerd or a geek.)

Werewolves are humans that turn to wolves. There are no wolves that can turn into humans (although werewolves aren't real, too.) Since they are mythological creatures, werewolves bite humans, and after they had been bitten, they will turn into werewolves, too. But wolves are simply wolves themselves. 

So, those who also get confused, I'm just sharing. :D
