This evening I got the news that the father of a close friend passed away.

He was scheduled to do a surgery today in Paris, but he unfortunately couldn't resist. His family knew for barely a month that he had a tumor.

I already spoke to my friend, and I felt so bad for her. I know how it is to lose someone because of cancer and it pains me that she has to go through the same I had to years ago.
