Languages: Korean (native/fluent)
Personality:
If there's one thing you need to know about Jung Hyeri, it's that she does not. Give. Up. Ever. She's very competitive, and hardly ever loses (or takes no for an answer.) Hyeri's definitely the dad of FRIDAY ○ GIRLS; she begrudgingly, but definitely cares for the girls she's the leader to. Hyeri didn't know she'd become the leader until a little bit before FRIDAY ○ GIRLS debut, but she takes her responsibility very, very seriously. Hyeri's #1 love is rapping. She loves it so, so much. She composes (most) of her own rap lyrics, and always gives 100% when it comes to rapping. She's a performer at heart, and that shows when she's on stage. She's in her element.
When she's off-stage, Hyeri hardly makes any movement with her face. She's nigh on emotionless. It's not because she doesn't care, or because she doesn't have emotions. When she's offstage - a lot like her brother - Hyeri turns very, very shy. She's just not good with people, in general. When Hyeri's on stage, she's on the heads side of the coin, but when she's anywhere else...it's like she's a different person. It takes a lot for Hyeri to open up to people - she's still working on the members of F○G, even - but she's a very loyal person if you try hard enough. Hyeri's a loyal friend if you're willing to work on it. She's also very serious, all the time, which can be good - and bad. She's serious about performing, but isn't afraid to scold or punish the girls if they're not doing well.
Background: Hyeri and her twin brother, Jung Taekwoon, are a lot alike; they're both fairly athletic people with a passion for music, and that was evident when they were growing up. Taekwoon was always more of a singer, but Hyeri idolized female rappers. So the both of them practiced whenever they had free time, and they both had their own hobbies too - soccer for Taekwoon and Tae Kwon Do for Hyeri. In 2008 Taekwoon was casted for Jellyfish Entertainment, and in the following year, the same happened for Hyeri at Cube - but other than that? A totally normal childhood for a fairly quiet girl.
