I don't really have a big interest in YG. When I got into Kpop in Feburary, PSY got me to ignore YG for quite a while. I really don't like PSY..... However, I wanted to give some of the YG family a chance before I make decisions. For example, I liked Lee Hi but I never looked into the other groups such as 2NE1 and Big Bang. I mainly spent my time in SMTOWN with SNSD, SuJu, and EXO. Yes, I listen to a little B2ST, Infinite, and BAP but I mainly hang around the SM groups. I believe that they make great songs. I want to however take a little break and venture out further into the Kpop world. So these are my first steps.

I was curious about Big Bang since they are extremely popular and is with Super Junior as the leading Kpop boy groups of Korea. I can definitely say that I like Big Bang more than my sister does. Their songs are catchy. They definitely made my favorite Kpop song as of now which is "Haru Haru." As soon as I listened to "Haru Haru," I fell in love with it right away. I have it on loop on a website and judging by how many times it replayed, it would be the equivalent of listening to it for 24 hours......in the last 3 days. It almost instantly jumped up to first place on my song bias list in front of EXO's Growl and Henry's Trap. The melody is just beautiful and the chorus is just amazing. GD is a really good song writer.

Big Bang's "Lies" is also a very good song. It's my second favorite Big Bang song next to Haru Haru. It has a nice melody and the chorus is pretty catchy.

Last song I want to talk about is their song "Tonight." This song is extremely catchy with a good chorus. It's my 3rd favorite song from them. I liked Taeyang's voice in the chorus and the "TONIGHT~" is very catchy and can get into your head easily.

My favorite member of the group would have to be Seungri. I like him.

I don't want to get much into the topic so let me just summarize it. I like a lot of Big Bang's songs from Tonight and going backwards. I don't really like their newer songs much. I didn't really like the 2012 songs much. I do like "Blue" but I don't really like "Monster" though. Big Bang however, are some very fashionable monsters.  "Fantastic Baby" has a really catchy chorus but that's it in my opinion. The videos didn't really do it for me much. 

I really like Big Bang's old image. I think it suits them better. Their songs were a lot better in my opinion. A lot of people I see online say that they miss the old Big bang and frankly I do too. Their newer image makes them look a little overrated in my opinion. 

So long story short, I like Big Bang but I like the older Big Bang more than the current Big Bang.
