Personality:

Shinhyun, much like her gem, is as caring as they come. She's like a mom to the rest of QoG, despite being one of the younger members, and always makes sure they're well-rested and well-fed. She always fusses over them as well. She's also quite the animal lover, and if she hadn't became an idol she would've loved to work with animals. Shinhyun is pretty well-known for her good public image, too. She always speaks politely and never swears, ever. She's a bit on the innocent side of things; her idea of romance is holding hands and kissses on the cheek, nothing more, nothing less. She's an idealist, and is the type of person who looks on the bright side even when there isn't one. She's generally quite the lovely person.

If Shinhyun was a sim, she'd have the over-emotional trait. She cries when she's happy, sad, angry, confused...she just generally cries a lot. It's really annoying. Also, sometimes, Shinhyun doesn't know when to stop; she cares and cooks and cleans even if it means overworking herself and/or bugging others. And if you yell at her to stop? She'll cry, as always! If somebody refuses to see the good side of a situation, then she always tries to force them. You sensing a theme here? The thing about Shinhyun is that she just doesn't know her place a lot of the time, and that's of course a very, very big issue.  

Background : I don't really know if I can write 2 paragraphs on Shinhyun's background, but I can try. Shinhyun was born and raised in Bucheon, South Korea, to two loving parents and one very loud older brother. He's what got Shinhyun into music in the first place; he was a rapper, just like how now Shinhyun is QoG's 2nd Lead Rapper. They're really close. Anyways, Shinhyun grew up with her brother teaching her how to rap, which she was pretty okay at.

The two siblings auditioned for SM Entertainment in 2009, and they both got in. Right now Shinhyun's brother is still training; he almost debuted in Exo, but it didn't end up happening thanks to Baekhyun. (More on that below.) Now Shinhyun's working really hard for QoG's debut, and hopes they'll go very far!
