Kat Nap

Silently he walks,

Quiet as a ghostly figure he passes though my thoughts.

He's the homeless man you'd fear during the night,

The beggar wearing the rags under the rain,

That one man that made you wonder about the meaning of life.

He's a miracle,

A revelation to my soul,

A patch that covers my worn out jeans,

An umbrella for all the rainy days I've yet to face.

And yet he walks alone.

Oh, how I wish I could reach out and hold his hand,

Just to make sure he's not an illusion,

A trick played on a tired mind,

On an old soul blinded by all this bright lights.

Won't  you see me?

Won't you understand that you're the answer to all of my prayers?

Won't you feel the tenderness I feel?

Then you'd see what I see in you.

You're but a man with no land,

So won't you stay just for a while beside me?

You're a homeless person I'd be glad to shelter and protect...

It wouldn't matter that it rains or it's snowing if you'd just be there.

He's a gentle touch of the blizzard,

Silently turning my cheeks red.

He's the sound of the sea

And all the seagulls chanting above its waters.

He's a miracle,

The revelation to an old, old soul...

Oh, if only you could see what I see,

Hear those heart beats that scream your name

Like this, like this...

You're everywhere and yet nowhere,

A ghostly link to an abyss

I'd gratefully embrace if I knew there is you

Waiting at the end of it.

You're the purest of the seasons

In between the concrete lights.

You're a walking story,

The 'who' in 'when' and 'where'.

He's the time machine,

The beauty of the wonder;

He's the cure

To all the bitterness the burns  through my tongue.

He seems to understand my wounds,

The never healing scars

He treats with silence and coldness

So that the blood wouldn't come gushing out.

You're the revelation in this dream I dream,

The truth hidden beneath the rotten plot,

The salvation that comes like the wind

The sleep that comes with the darkness.

You're my cat nap when it seems I've been up for

A life time.

*giggles* Alright, I blame that stupid thing, so-called 'poem' on being awake for more than 24h already^^' So yeah, excuse the fact that it makes absolutely no sense, that there's no rhyme or rhythm to go with it. My brain could be as well declared officially gone to the NeverLand :))

Anyway, today was super nice. School started for high schoolers and I went to visit my teachers and give some pieces of advice to some of the students. Heck, I even held a speech that made my ears turn into this bright red that made me look like a drunkard *giggles* And they made fun of my ears TT.TT *sigh* Well, I was never good with public speech and I didn't even have something prepared. I just... talked from my experience and told them what to expect from the teachers that have taught my class for 4 years :)

And then the day turned into a rollercoaster of sun and laughter and cussing at the waiters that were slower than a snail >.<" I think we changed like, three locations before we found one where the serving was prompt. But anyway, it was super nice to be once again a high schooler, even if just for a day^^

But I'm mega tired, so my apologizes for not updating TT.TT I just don't feel capable of doing it. But something will be up tomorrow. Or at least, I'll try my best^^'

Oh, and to all those that have started school today or earlier this month, my belated wishes of good luck! I'm air-headed, I know^^'
