"Style"
Personality: Kang Sihyun may be 18 years old, but he often acts like a much younger child. He likes to play games and have fun more than anything else. He enjoys playing pranks on others, but always manages to avoid punishment. He isn't ashamed or embarrassed to use aegyo and often uses it to get what he wants... Or to get out of trouble. If the cute angle doesn't work, Sihyun has no problem flirting or taking the y route in order to get his way. You could even say he has no shame. He is extremely energetic and tends to annoy others because they want to rest while he wants to play. Despite his antics, Sihyun is a very delicate person. He is innocent like a child, never even having had his first kiss or even holding hands. Sihyun believes that you should only date someone if you plan on marrying them, like courting in the olden days. For this reason, he has never had a girlfriend.

Sihyun may seem immature and childish, but he also a masculine side. He is actually quite the gentleman, naturally keeping chivalry alive. When people ask the question, "romantic" or "spontaneous", Sihyun is definitely under the "spontaneous" category. He likes to surprise people and not always in a prank sort of way. He is a very unpredictable person and it is nearly impossible to tell what he's going to do next. Sihyun hates making lists for things; he prefers to do things right away instead of putting on a list to do later. He is the type of person that acts without thinking, which often gets him into trouble. Sometimes he will do things just to get a reaction out of someone, even if it makes him look like a fool.

If there is an animal that Sihyun is like, it would be a dog. Sihyun is very loyal and friendly, just like a dog! Once he makes a friend, it takes a lot for him to stop liking them. His first true friend was a fellow trainee from TOP Media. They fell out of contact when she transferred to a different company. Sihyun has trouble making many close friends because he doesn't always connect with people well, but this just makes him even closer to the few friends he does have. Sihyun is also very dependent on his friends; he would be totally lost without them. He is somewhat absent-minded and his friends always help bring him back to reality and keep him out of trouble. Sihyun doesn't do much without his friend and gets really sad if they ignore him or cancel plans with him. Sihyun is very caring and is the perfect shoulder to cry on; he's always willing to listen when you have a problem and although his advice is childish, it is sure to make you laugh and feel better.

"History"
Background: Kang Minwoo was 22 years old when he met his future wife... Unfortunately, he didn't know it at the time. In fact, he would have laughed if you told him he was going to marry her. Jeon Hyojin was 18 years old at the time, underage, and the only reason they met was because she was taking a class at his University. Hyojin, although only a high school senior, was brilliantly intelligent. She was top in her class for every subject, but she especially excelled in writing. She had decided to take a class at the local college on the side and on her first day there, she ran into Minwoo... Literally. She had been too busy picking up her spilled books and papers to even notice who had knocked her down. Minwoo, on the other hand, was already late for class and didn't have time to stick around. Just like that, they met without truly meeting. Throughout the rest of the semester, Minwoo heard his friends talking about how beautiful she was and how it that she was underage. He agreed: Hyojin was truly beautiful and he also admired her intelligence. That year, Minwoo graduated from University and Hyojin graduated from high school.

Five years later, Hyojin was leaving Starbucks with her fresh cup of coffee when she was knocked down once again. Actually stopping to apologize this time, Minwoo recognized her: the young, intelligent, beautiful girl from his senior year. In the years since he graduated, Minwoo had gone on to become a popular musician. Luckily for him, Hyojin was a fan and forgave him easily for spilling hot coffee on her. He took her to a nearby store and bought her a brand new shirt and they exchanged numbers, planning on hanging out. It wasn't long after they started spending time together that they realized how many mutual friends they had. After a year of casual friendship, Minwoo worked up the nerve to ask her out and she accepted. After four years of dating, Minwoo proposed and they began their married life together. Hyojin was 32 years old when she gave birth to a precious baby boy: Sihyun. While giving birth, there were several serious complications and Hyojin nearly lost her life. Fortunately, both Sihyun and his mother survived, although Hyojin would never be able to give birth again.

Sihyun lived a happy and comfortable life with his parents, who loved each other just as much as ever. Hyojin was a moderately popular writer and Minwoo's career was still successful, so they were never poor. Sihyun discovered his love for music when he was five years old; his father started teaching him guitar. Raised by two extremely creative people, Sihyun always had a unique outlook on life. He was often teased in school because he would say peculiar things. The other students also made fun of him because his parents were so much older than theirs. Sihyun never payed much attention to these bullies and he never let them bring him down. Secretly, he felt guilty for his mother's frail health and the fact that she could never have the daughter she so desired.

Reason For Auditioning: Ever since he was a child, Sihyun knew that he wanted to become a musician like his father. He had the talent and he had the drive... He knew it was the perfect career for him. He was 8 years old when he heard about TOP Media. The company building was within walking distance of his house, but his parents wouldn't let him audition until he was 12. On his 12th birthday, he walked over to the building and auditioned. Sihyun thought that being accepted as a trainee was his best birthday present ever.

Training Period: 6 years

Trainee Life: Sihyun had no idea what he was getting himself into when he auditioned for TOP Media. He is very skilled in playing guitar and his voice is beautiul, but he had never even tried dancing. Having to learn from the very basics was extremely difficult and Sihyun often found it hard to keep up in class. The other trainees made fun of him because he was so bad at dancing and rapping. His first day as a trainee, Sihyun ran into a female trainee. She was older than him and he'd heard rumors of how cold she was; many trainees seemed to find her intimidating. After picking herself up off the floor, ignoring the hand he offered to help her up, she simply left without saying anything. Sihyun was relieved and went on his own way, thankful that she hadn't yelled at him. However, training became harder and harder because he had no friends... He was so lonely. One day, after a particularly rough dance practice, Sihyun broke down and started crying after the others left. He cried for a half an hour and didn't notice when someone came into the practice room. When the trainee from before pulled him into a comforting hug, Sihyun had never been so surprised. She helped him with his dancing and they grew closer; she was his only friend and he was hers. With her private lessons for him, Sihyun improved a lot in dancing. His training became more tolerable and he wasn't bullied as much. When she transferred to a different company, he was worried about being left alone. However, he worked even harder once she left, hoping to impress her when they met again.

Why You Like Them: Park Mintae is every bit as kind as Kang Sihyun is playful and that is what he likes most about her. Sihyun is very picky about dating and his never really pursued a girl before, but Mintae may be the one to change that. Sihyun, as innocent as he his, believes that Mintae is an "angel on Earth". She is the kindest, most pure hearted person he has ever met. Sihyun knows about her DID and has even meet "Minty", but it didn't change the way he felt about her. In fact, it made him like her even more. He admires how strong she is to be able to deal with her disorder and wishes he could help her with it. Another thing Sihyun likes about her, is Mintae's short temper. He finds it sort of... y when she gets fired up. In fact, sometimes he annoys her on purpose just to see her break her usual angelic image. Sihyun thinks that Mintae is beautiful in every way and finds himself wanting to be near her so he can seem beautiful, too.

How They Act Together: Sihyun, normally a rather confident person, becomes shy whenever Mintae is around. He spaces out more than ever when she's in the room, usually because he's daydreaming about her. He has played a prank on every trainee in the program except for Mintae... He doesn't want to annoy her. Sihyun's "gentleman" side comes out everytime he is with Mintae and he tries to appear more masculine to her. Sihyun really enjoys making music together with Mintae: he plays the guitar and they both sing, their voice blending really well. He thinks that she is most attractive when she is singing and asks her to sing with him almost everyday, just so he can watch her perform. Mintae enjoys taking selcas and Sihyun is extremely into photography, so they always take pictures when they're together. Many of the other trainees say they would make a cute couple when they see these photos and that just makes Sihyun even more shy, to the point of becoming clumsy.  Sihyun is close friends with Mintae's brother and sometimes all three of them hang out together. Whenever this happens, Sihyun is more awkward than ever before. He has a hard time hiding his affection for Mintae, but he doesn't want to lose Kwangmin as a friend, so he does his best.

How Will/Did They Meet: The day that the trainees moved into their dorms, Kwangmin and Sihyun were assigned to the same room. Sihyun had only seen Kwangmin once when they were all moving, but he hadn't gotten a very good look at the younger boys face. Sihyun was unpacking his stuff when he realized that he didn't know which bed Kwangmin would prefer. He didn't want to get off to a bad start with his roommate, so he went outside to find him. Sihyun was walking along the beach when he finally spotted his roommate... Or so he thought. He called out to the other boy and picked up the pace so he was jogging towards him. Sihyun watched as Kwangmin froze to the spot and then bolted, running away. Confused and somewhat upset, Sihyun made his way back to the house where he ran into the real Kwangmin. Even more confused, he told the younger boy about what had just happened. Kwangmin laughed. While Sihyun was standing there, bewildered as Kwangmin laughed, a girl rushed into the room. She froze when she saw Sihyun and he recognized her. Everything made sense when Kwangmin introduced her as his twin sister. Sihyun laughed kindly at the way she seemed paralyzed and she seemed to wake up. It was the moment that she pulled her hair out from the hood of her jacket that Sihyun fell for her... She was so beautiful.

Liu Hua //19 // Male // TOP Media // An easy-going, competitve, athletic prankster

~How you act together: Kang Sihyun met Liu Hua when the older became a trainee at TOP Media.  They became friends before Hua Hua's first day of training was over. Sihyun had been training for two years already and was 14 years old. His closest friend, a female trainee from TOP Media, had just transferred out of the company and Sihyun was really lonely. When he met Hua Hua, he became happy again and they become best friends. When they are together, Hua Hua and Sihyun are either pranking people, laughing about something childish, or practicing. Since Hua Hua is a great dancer, Sihyun enjoys getting lessons from him. They are so similar that they have even earned a nickname, "the choding duo". They have been friends for four years and their friendship has only gotten stronger over the years. Sihyun always feels special and important when Hua Hua asks him for advice. He also really likes sharing his love for photography with Hua Hua and brings his camera along every time they hang out. Sihyun has a hard time surprising Hua Hua because they have known each so long and has given up on trying to be spontaneous with him.

~How you act together: Sihyun is one of the only people in the program that don't find Kwangmin "creepy". He understands that the younger boy acts that way out shyness and, although he can't relate, he always tells people off for calling Kwangmin a "nobody". Sihyun thinks it's really funny how Kwangmin can pass for a girl when cross-dressing and doesn't mind his overly feminine ways. Sihyun often comes to Kwangmin's rescue when the younger is being teased and really hates it when people pick on him for being half Japanese. They usually spend their time together playing guitar or composing songs. When they aren't jamming out, Sihyun is taking pictures and making Kwangmin be his model. Sihyun really enjoys spending time with younger boy because he is a somewhat calming presence to be around. When they are together, Sihyun tones down his prankster side and allows his musician side to thrive. Some of the songs they compose together are actually really good and Sihyun often finds himself singing or humming them at random times.
