Personality:

Hyeri, being one of the older members of HershE, puts the health and well-being of the girls she's in a group with first. She always makes sure they're okay - that they're doing well, healthy, rested, well-fed, etc. - before even considering herself. Hyeri has a bit of an inferiority complex, due to the fact that she's not the group's best rapper, and hence practices all the time to make up for her percieved shortcomings. She never quite feels good enough about herself, which is a huge flaw. In fact, she spend a lot of time measuring herself up to the other girls and just not feeling good enough. But for the most part, Hyeri doesn't let it show. Why would she? That's useless, and nobody likes a whiner anyway.

Hyeri only really lets her true emotions show when she's alone - like, all alone. It doesn't matter how much she trusts you, there are times when Hyeri just needs to be alone and cry whatever's bugging her out. If you disturb her during those times, be prepared to see a very angry 23 year old charging at you. (Those fake nails hurt.) Because of the fact that Hyeri keeps her stress all bundled up on the inside, the durations of those crying sessions vary in length from a very, very long time to hardly any time at all. Because of Hyeri's inferiority complex, she often does dumb things like go on diets (so she can be skinny as the rest of the girls) or work out until she's fatigued. She needs to take care of herself better, generally.

Background: Hyeri had a very normal life in Bucheon, South Korea before she became a trainee in 2011 (the same time Baekhyun, her brother, became a trainee.) She grew up in a musical family, what with her little brother being such a good singer and herself being a rapper, and so becoming a trainee was second nature to her. Boom. Now that she's debuting with HershE Hyeri's been working harder than ever to measure up to the rest of her group. All the best to her.
