Hello there!

Today has to do with the first reviewer on a co-authored story, the story being Sparkler.

If you're reading this, reviewer,  YOU. 

Their review:

"no one's going to find this if you don't put the right tags on your fic. so it's going to be hard to get subs, much less comments. otherwise, good luck with your fic!

and try not to use so many pictures in the middle of your fics. your job as a writer means you have to put those pictures into words and not just slapping them there. people read because they have perfectly capable imaginations. don't forget that"

My reponse:

"Hello-first off, thank you for your comment. We appreciate your advice, and we have taken it to heart-however, I would like to add something.

I don't exactly appreciate your phrasing, 'your job as a writer'-'not just slapping them there'
What the ? 
These pictures aren't us being lazy, they are our version of a POV change. If there are details we need, we'll put them in-and yes, we know they have capable imaginations! 
While I appreciate the review, the way this was phrased does not put you in my favor-though I apologize for my rant."

So, I wondered why on earth they thought they had the right to critique us on something that anyone could do-so, I decided to look as their page. Therefore, here is a list of reasons of why I think this person should OFF, stop being such a damn hypocrite, and ing CALM THE DOWN!

1. They don't even have a truly complete story-the one they DO have is a 14 chapter WORKSHOP, quote unquote, 'on how to write their stories'. Take some of your own damn advice and finish a few!
2. They say the stories that are written in first person are 'dull and flat', yet half of their own works are written in first person! Either you're calling your own works dull and flat, or you're a damned hypocrite.
3. They shouldn't be bashing other people's stories when they do the same thing-fix the so-called 'errors', or BACK THE OFF.

Not a very large list, but I find these important. Thank you readers for even glancing at my rant, but things like this will probably be the only reason this blog is used.
