He’s a really beautiful boy. He’s beautiful in a way that most people overlook that beauty and just see the beauty that lies within the external part of him, not the internal. He’s a boy that has a heart of gold. When i first heard that Exo was finally going to do the showcase, i was happy because after several teasers and mv’s they were finally going to have their first performance. As the showcase went on, i noticed something. That something broke my heart. Everybody except Suho showcased their talent. Lay, Kai, Sehun, Xiumin, and Luhan danced. Kris and Chanyeol rapped. Chen, Luhan, D.O., and Baekhyun sang. Tao showcased his wushu skills along with some dancing. But Suho didn’t showcase anything. All they did was a slide show of him. He must have felt useless if he didn’t get any time to display anything. He trained for 7 years and yet he only got a slide show. But no, the boy kept a smile on his face. The group songs were the only ones he got time to sing in. If i recall D.O., Chen, Baekhyun, and Luhan sang Open arms. They are main and lead vocals. But Suho is also a lead vocal and this is quite upsetting because he needs to shine as a vocal as well. In Angel, the way he sang his lines, were really beautiful but i couldn’t help but feel sad. The way he sings is beautiful, he has such a sweet and angelic voice yet it’s overshadowed. When he sings, there’s a bit of sadness coming from him and he puts it unintentionally into the songs. 

Just as his stage name states, Suho’s a guardian. He’s always looking out for the members. Suho is always attentive on s. He checks on the younger ones a bit more. I’ve seen those airport pictures where he looks tired but he still has a smile on his face. He looks out for the members that are closest to him at the moment. When on interviews on tv, he looks after them and looking if they have anything on their face or clothes. Like that one time they were being interviewed and he removed something off the corner of Kai’s lip/chin. Drying the sweat off D.O.’s forehead. Letting Chanyeol use his sleeve to wipe his sweat off. Fixing their hair, their clothes, and helping them with their speech. Suho accompanied Kai to the hospital for his waist injury despite Suho himself having a knee injury which was the reason why their performance was canceled. Suho is that type of guy you don’t see every once in 200 years. He’s that special. He’s the type of guy that puts everyone and everything first and puts himself last. His heart is fragile and knows more about kindness, love, and pain than anything else.

This boy caught my attention because of how reckless he can be and how noble he is. He’s too kind, trusts easily, gets attached easily, gets bullied, and yet he’s alone without being alone. I wouldn’t be surprised if he has developed depression. He may not have a whole bunch of fans like the rest of the members but he sure does have such loving and genuine fans who care about him. If you take a closer look at his smile, then you’ll see how much he’s been hurting. Like his smile, his eyes show the sadness he doesn’t dare show and the pain he has felt. The way he cried on both the music show and fan sign was really heart breaking. He let those feelings he’s been keeping bottled inside for 7 years out. The way his knees gave out and how he didn’t want other’s to see his tears or hear his sobs shows how much he’s had to endure. The way he turned around or wiped his tears quickly and tried to bounce back was really hard for me to see.

Like i have said, this quote applies to him. “The loneliest people are the kindest”, Suho is known for that. “The saddest people smile the brightest”, Suho is always smiling whether he’s tired or not. “The most damaged people are the wisest”, Suho is a really wise guy.  ” All because they do not wish to see anyone else suffer the way they do”, Suho is always looking out for everyone and making sure they don’t get hurt both physically and emotionally.  He’s very patient with others, he listens well, he doesn’t judge by appearance, and he recognizes moralities. He isn’t selfish. All of him is invested in the group and the members. He forgets that, he too is important. There are so many people that are around him and don’t recognize that they have such a valuable jewel next to them. He’s the ideal best friend anybody could ever have. He will always hold a very special place in my heart. I have always thought that this world was full of people that were selfish, mean, and harsh. As i have always been a lonely person. I’d have a friend one day and wake up and have no friends at all. When i saw Suho. I felt happy, i felt happy to know that people like him still exist. What breaks my heart is that he’s so lonely and that he swallows all of his feelings all for the sake of s. He can’t allow himself to cry because that would mean defeat. He doesn’t want to be seen as weak. He takes his leader position too seriously. To the point where i’m afraid that all that pressure and all those feelings that he lets bottle up will break him. He’s the type of person that will help out a friend without thinking it twice.  But as time goes on we’ll see how the group dynamic grows and how Suho molds himself. Suho inspires me alot. He didn’t give up even though people told him that he wouldn’t debut. He fought for his place in Exo and he rightfully deserves it.
