personality┊Elizabeth has quite a unique personailty as she likes to be different from everyone else and kind of hates the norm. But she doesn't do it on purpose, it's just who she is. Elizabeth is seen a funny person who tries to make people laugh even at the wrong times. She likes people to smile because of her and loves to make people laugh with her humour and it also gives her the confidence because she knows that she's funny. She's also quite a witty girl as well and it's quite hard to insult her as she always have another insult lined up for you. She's quick to say what she thinks and cannot be pushed down useless told that she needs to bring it down a notch. Elizabeth is also a kind person and is willing to give people her time so they can talk to her about anything, going from problems to what was on T.V. was last and if a friend or someone does have a problem, she'll try her best to fix it or find a way too. She's also seen approachable and friendly as she always loves to meet new people and make sure that she doens't look TOO frightening.
background┊Elizabeth had grown up in a multicultural background as she has moved from one country to another. After being born in South Africa and living there for 5 years, she was then moved to London and started schooling there. But because of her parents, she could never really settle down because they would never stay in one place. So she moved all around the world., staying in Saudi Arabia and making new firiends while learning Arabic and living in Hong Kong for a year as she learned a bit of Mardarin(a language her father is good at). It was until her parents thought it would be good for her to learn her roots, that they went back to South Africa and stayed there for two years, meeting up with childhood friends and having fun while also practicing her zulu. But staying in one place never really was a thing for her family so they flew off to Seoul because of her father's job, him being a diplomat. So when they arrived in Seoul, Eli was a bit stiff with the fact that she was in a whole new place again but managed to fit in as she seens as quite unique and fitted in very well. After a few months in Seoul in 2008, she managed to get into S.M. after audiioning and is currently now training in order to achieve a dream she never really knew she had.

trainee background┊Trainee life was quite hard for Elizabeth as she found it hard to fit in. Not only was she a foreigner but she couldn't speak Korean all that well. So she found it hard to make friends and meet new people. Not to mention that she had to juggle school work with practice that it sometimes got a bit too much and she would break down. Her parents tried to convince to back out of the company and just continue with her life as it was before because the stress was getting to her. Elizabeth did consider doing that and was even ready to go and tell SM that she was through. But she realized that she was strong than this and she wasn't a quitter so she contiinue to train under SM. It did get easier for her as her Korean improved which made going to training more sociable for her and made it more fun as the other trainees found her quite unique and she trained hard in order to debut and prove to the world that she could indeed do it.

first meeting┊Elizabeth met Key when she was rehearsing her dance steps for Hot Summer as she was a back up dancer for f(x). Key had been watching her amusingly as she kept on getting the chorus bit wrong until she finally gave up and slumped against the wall. Key, having watched enough of the girl's sad face, walked up to her and volunteered to help her with that particular part (Since Key is like the master of girl group dances). Elizabeth, more than a bit shocked, agreed and soon she had the dance step in no time and had made a new friend out of it.
