Here's my written reaction for the song and the MV.

So upon seeing the video of the first track that is released from GD's new album Coup D'ETAT.  which by the way has the same title. I was completely, totally and utterly mesmerize and at awe. seeing the video and hearing the song, I would say it is purely art. Let me start with the video, the concept is purely editorial. I mean at first it come out for me a little dark, you know with the black and all the other that is in it.  the start actually reminds me of the movie 300. . hehehe well it was just me, anyway i don't know if you notice the part where GD had a red blot on his chest?. well is it me or we can connect that with his first album which was called heart breaker? I mean we all know what his previous concept stands for but yeah. i just connected it with that. anyway, I just find the part where he was like in a kitchen full of pots and the black thing that was boiling. well when you look at it clearly it was money boiling in black ink. it shows for me how other make money ehem... dirty money anyone?. . ehehe  and yeah have you seen haculla's art?. . dope isn't it? . . so the part where we see all his mask which is again used with his first album. . remember you guys?.. hihihi how he looked underneath the white mask? it's pure black right? and how he broke it? don't you think that it represent on how he tries to push his boundaries and creating something new and fresh. it was like telling that he is indeed ONEofaKIND and none like the same mold and same as others. The song OH MY GHAD don't let me get started with it. It is purely genius. it was mentioned that is was produced by BD with DIPLO and BAaUER talk about the holy grail of kPOP damn!! for some of you who doesn't know who these guys are (diplo and baauer) well this people are DJs and producer we all know who diplo is, well he's song includes pon de floor, set it off, bubble and the OH soooo well known express yourself. he also worked with major laser and others. with baauer is an accomplished DJ and producer and to say the least he won awards too which i can't really remember when but it was for the dance category if i'm correct. one of the song that he produced is the harlem shake. anyway going back to the song, seriously I can't feel diplo in the song, i mean it is so different from his other produced but who knows right? It was totally all GD and Baauer here. the voice of GD, his flow and of course his rap. damn! together with baauer's minimalist approach. . at the end you get GOLD and DIAMONDS boy!

in short G-DRAGON is pushing and helping KPOP in general to appeal more into the mainstream music in the west, and seriously to all the other artist/groups that is having their comebacks know? guess what you guys just made the wrong timing. . GD's gonna get an all kill with this FIRST track!! can't wait for the other tracks to be released!
