Revisiting some of my first biases
Okay before you continue reading, let's clarify some things. (If you manage to put up with me till the end, we need to be like best friends.)
Kpop is definitely still my obsession, and EXO, SJ, and C-Clown are sources of happiness for me on a daily basis.
Lately when I'm LITERALLY not feeling well, like headaches and such, I find myself turning back to the first music groups I ever liked.
There are 3 groups:
Nightmare
Maximum the Hormone
and
The GazettE
What people don't get about me is that they can't see how a clumsy little Asian girl with a major sweet tooth, animal onsies, and giant nerd glasses can possible love really hardcore punk, gothic rock, nu metal, or any of that kind music. I just like that kind of music, okay?? Super slow ballads and classical-ish music stresses me out!
There's just something about these groups' music that relaxes me and just lets me forget all about my headaches and just enjoy myself.
Ironically, I tend to headbang when listening to these genres (the Japanese variety of it, mind you. American generally imo) when nobody's around, but it's something about how relaxed it makes me that my headache goes away as opposed to me hurting my neck and getting one as a result of the headbanging. XD
ANYWAY, onto the biases. (This is totally avoiding NEWS btw cause even though I love that jpop band to death, they were after my jrock phase.)
First person I found really attractive: Hitsugi (Nightmare)
First vocal I fell in love with and still adore with all my heart: Yomi (Nightmare)
Not so much a bias, but a musical genius: Maximum the Ryo (Maximum the Hormone)
First person that I couldn't not giggle at their Engrish: Ruki (The GazettE)
You have no idea how hard it was for me to choose a picture for him...
And the first person to make my feels asplode: Kai (The GazettE)
Considering I'm like a full time Kpop addict, I really fallen out of the loop and it's been years since I was updated about these groups' activities and such, but I still adore them, at least for their music.
